How To Make a Perfect Wax Strip

  • It can be difficult to achieve the perfect wax strip, so I'm here to help! First, make sure you properly cleanse the skin to remove any makeup, dirt, sweat or lotion. Then, ensure your wax is at the correct consistency which should look like honey or molasses. Apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth for all the first strips. On your cleanup strips, apply in the opposite direction of the hair growth. You also want to make sure you're applying the wax in a perpendicular motion so you reach the base of the hair on your skin. Next, when applying the wax make clean edges so the strip will come off in one strip. If your edges are all over the place, then the wax strip will most likely break. After you're done waxing, make sure to apply your post waxing care and you're all done!

Remember to support your local esthetician once you are able to go back to them..they were out of work for a LONG time and (at least in the U.S) many weren't eligible for any unemployment, loans or grants. They need clients and support more than ever this year ♡

Love your channel. You explain everything so well. I was going and getting waxed (soft wax, had no clue there were different ones lol) and it hurt so bad every time plus I was having to come home and pluck all the hairs that got missed or broken. As much money as I spent it was ridiculous. Then I learned about hard wax and decided to order some and I absolutely love it. I have the most sensitive skin and shaving is just not an option. You have helped me so much so thank you for these videos.

What temperature, approximately, should the wax be when it’s ready to apply to the skin? I know you said honey texture but what temp do you think that is? I went to a salon a few days ago to the an armpit and bikini wax but the women BURNT my skin to the point I have blisters.. this is the second this has happened at 2 different salon so I decided to buy my own machine. Just wanting to clarify before I attempt to do it myself, lol!

Will you get a distributor in Europe for Mermaid Wax? I ordered yesterday from your website, but the taxes are around 60 euros for a shipment worth of 120 dollars (shipping costs included).
But it's nice though that you fixed shipping internationally so fast!! Curious about the products

I saw someone on tik tok using silicone mats. That way you can actually remove the strips and reuse them so you don’t waste any wax. Hope this helps!
