Nice to see Cathedral on your list. It was on the youtube thumbnail and had me scratching my head as I thought it was only a "New Zealand only" game and didn't realise it was available overseas as well.
Don't know if i mentioned this before but your videos are professionally made, remind me of some shows that I've seen on Discovery channel, "How it's Made" is one example. Pucket and Klask are the games that excite me the most, nice list btw, cheers!
Heh, "Cronkinole". I didn't realize it was an invention from Ontario; that explains why it is so present here and why (until relatively recently) it was almost unheard of in other places.
I picked up Straight Shooter two years ago for it's heirloom quality look and feel. Very similar to Pucket, except it plays four people at once! I'd never heard of Cathedral but it reminds me a lot of Blokus. I never knew what I was missing! The tactile and visual nature of this style game is enhanced so much by the beautiful wooden components of Cathedral , rather than the cheap, plastic of Blokus.
We had Cathedral when I was a kid it was my brother's game and he never taught me how to play it so I never knew how it worked wish I still had it to play with my kids that looks fun now that I know how it works

Yeah, It's been on my Amazon list for years and I finally picked it up recently. It was the inspiration for the list actually!

I have always wanted to see Knock down barns, you have mentioned it in the podcast previously so I was curious.
Hahaha the infamous burlap sack from the con.

Pucket looks fun. Getting added to our house. Thanks Jamie
It's fun and looks nice too. Great choice!
BURLAP SACK! BURLAP SACK! BURLAP SACK!
Klask is a lot of fun. Bought this in a whim and am really glad I did. Crockinole is also one of our favorites.
Great list! I would love to play barns but I would need a trained monkey to pick up all the marshmallows for me.
We have crokinole and klask and they are always big hits. Will have to try the others.
Same here 😉 and I would also recommend Bonk. Falls into the same category and is a hit with my family. Only really works with four players though.

Great List Jamie!
Thanks Kris!
Pucket!!!!!!
