    Interesting video that happened to be recommended by RUclips.
    One thing I noticed about the bigger clips was I needed to run a 10mm drill bit through the holes in the metal body. You made this look so easy and I like the tip about spray paint to mark the holes for the clips.

    Your channel is amazing ! Just bout a t5.1 shuttle going to fit a leisure battery and still deciding to take rear interior out and carpet a line it with a headliner etc your channel is going to be my bible 🙏

    Hi, great video again. I'm learning so much to work on my T4. My roof panels are bowing down so want to re-attach them. How do you mark up the clip holes if the panels are held in with little screws at the moment?

    Really useful thanks! Got the Custom Shop Designs roof liner for my Vito and it's all you say it is, except not a single instruction on how to fit it & my Vito came with no liner, so nothing to go by.

    Hey guys, great video as always! Couple of questions...
    - why didn’t you put the middle trim clip up (between the two roof panels)?
    - I’ve got my stuff from the exact same places :)! Should I carpet the panels, put the lights in and then put them up? Or do you guys just carpet over the entire roof in situ?

    How would you finish off the join between the front cab and the new rear carpeted headliner, if you dont have that nice trim threshold? For a different van to one you showed, which recently had the bulkhead removed. I have looked online for a company that makes custom ones but cant find any. Cheers guys 👍🏼

    I am from Switzerland and I wanted to by the trim clip used in This video. However, the Harrison shop does not deliver outside UK. Is there an alternatives to get these rivet ?

    I got fed up with the joining strip popping down so ended up screwing through them!

    Hi there. My T4 has a sun roof in it and i want to change the roof lining as it's a total mess (as is the rest of it's interior) The company you recommended don't do cut out's for t4's with sunroofs so what would you recommend? Many thanks. Ivan.

    We are about to convert our Vauxhall Vivaro LWB 2014 > Do you know if the VW CNC Headliner kit will fit this vehicle? Templating the headliner is the thing that fills me with dread.

      Generally 3.6mm ply as its light enough to be held up by the clips and string enough to support the weight of carpet lining and lights etc

      Thanks for the kind words Gary. Ideally you want a 3.6mm board for headliner. Thick enough to have strength, but light enough to not a stress on the fastenings

      Hi guys, thabks for the kind words. You ate looking for 12vdc LED downlighters. They come in many fifteenth forms and prices. But if you scour ebay and/amazon you should be able to find the right set. Alternatively, we use suppliers such as Rayne Automotive and Clearcut Conversions

    Do you carpet over the clips in the roof so they are hidden or would you have to use a different type of clip if you want them hidden?

      Hi Mark, We carpet the panels seperately then refit them by pushing the clips through the layers, therefore having them showing.

    Lol you cocked up the front headliner didn't you! 😂 spotted it when you were banging on about marking holes with spray paint. That's why front trim wasn't covering and why you mysteriously ended the vid saying it's not quite finished (gap between panels was too tight to fit centre trim!). Best just to own up imo 😂

    I've just found your vids in research to do my Vito. I've found head liner boards in 3.6 and 6mm. I see you used 3.6.......... I was going to order the 6mm as it's only £5.00 more. Would I be better with 3.6mm. Many thanks for all your vids

      3.6 is lighter. If the headliner is too heavy the clips may fail.

    All that measuring between the lights and you didn't leave a gap between the pieces of ply where the roof bar is. Th distances will be wrong when you fit the panels. Also why is the front panel not long enough? It should tuck under that OEM Strip. Some good tips in the video.

    Is the original head-lining not good enough to be carpeted and re-fitted ?

      We prefer to offer and fit new headliners as the original may well be old and damaged. When an existing headliner is carpeted and fitted with lights they droop and sag due to the increased weight.

    My Vito didn't come with a headlining, it is just the bare metal roof. Whats the easiest way to make up a template for the plywood headlining boards? Great video by the way!
