I really appreciate the information that you put out, I know you don’t have to do this especially running your own company however you do and me personally I would recommend your page to anyone that’s looking for information about starting in this industry, thanks again and I wish you nothing but the best!
I just had my consultation with David, very good content given. If your trying to get into the trucking business before you pull the trigger it would be best to talk and become informed about the decision your about to make. I've looked at several people on u tube and he breaks it down so you can understand and know what your about to get into. So would I say it was worth the money yes it was.
Yasssss you should. Especially if the insurance in your state is super expensive. You can always file as a foreign entity in which ever state you want to work in. Super plus is that you can run loads in states that don't have state taxes.
Do you have experience with this because this video seemed to be saying it’s not a great idea? I would like to see a video on how to do it successfully.

If your trucking business is just going to be one truck only and under someone else's authority, then there shouldn't be an issue. Picking SD is the easiest way to do this setup.
Mr. Dallas , can I have two LLC AND two MC numbers ? I don’t wan to add owner operators on my authority but I wanted to create a separate one for Owener operators
Hello David, I like your videos be at you are very honest and sincerely in what you say, thank you for your help. Question you still do coaching ? , because I’m trying to get into trucking business.
how about starting a trucking business from outside US? setting up a company in US, and manage the company with visits to US and then shift to appropriate visa
I live in California but wanna start my trucking company in a different state so I can buy a pre-2012 rig and get it registered to drive all across the country (except the lame states that wont accept my truck)
Can I have the business in another state and my employee or driver live in another? For example, I live in Florida and want to register the business here but my dad has his CDL and lives in Indiana. Thank you for your time.
I’m going to start a trucking company now. I have a truck and I came up with a name. I could use some help. If you have a minute I would like to speak with you to make sure I’m doing this correctly
Hey David! I was wondering, do you have any good resources/ advice on cargo van expediting? I’m really interested in getting into logistics and cargo vans seem like the best way to start off in this business, would love to hear your opinions/advice! Thanks so much!
Hey @ David McGill, Hello, my name is Stephan. I live in Canada and I'm interested in starting a Trucking Business in USA. I saw a few of your videos on youtube and you have inspired me. My only question is this: do you think it is possible to run a Trucking business as an owner and do all the paperwork but without having the CDL, and without actually residing in USA ? ( I do have a licensed driver by the way)
My brother has his own trucking company and wanted some feedback. Idk if you can answer my questions but I appreciate your videos. I was thinking about financing a semi truck and becoming an equity partner I guess is the right term. I don’t have a CDL myself and I’m thinking of letting him drive the truck and split profits but I have no clue on how to go about it and if it’s worth it
I'm in Jacksonville, FL. I was told it's getting freight coming into FL but hard getting freight going out, and that I should think about working out of another state. Any truth to that? I'm trying to start a box trucking business specifically box trucks starting out
Thanks brother .. I have a question I own one truck and leases with someone else . I want to open my company and Start dispatching for me. Do I need a book keeper or I can do all the formalities by myself ? Like register my company name and apply for us dot and mc no . ? Thanks 😊
HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN ANSWER THIS IF YOU FORM IT IN ANOTHER STATE (LLC). Since you’re driving a truck are you obligated to change your CDL to that state or keep your original state CDL or drivers license. And just work as an out of state driver ? Also say you live in Florida but work in North Carolina and have the LLC in that state will I pay income tax to that state and state tax for the LLC ? Since not im not working technically working in Florida because the company isn’t base out of there.? Thanks
Can someone please help me with a question: I have a multi member LLC (all live in different states), whose state income tax will they look at for filing IRP/IFTA? one person's, registering agent of the state, or all members of the company? I really appreciate any help
