H0lyPh3n0m Forgive me if I'm wrong and I'm fucking not, but every weightlifting guide says the correct form is raise the bar to full lock out with a neutral spine and then carefully lower it back down. Stronglifts, CanditoHQ, Buff Dudes, OmarIsuf, none of them state dropping the bar is correct dead-lift form.
Actually if you notice they would drop it pretty fast...even with perfect form, that exercise is inherently out to get your back. Hence why dropping it is safer.

I used to half rep squats. Not because I thought it was good, but because I wasn't flexible enough and didn't have proper technique. What I did was started stretching and learnt the proper technique. Now I do full parallel squats and am working on being able to go ass to the grass. No excuses. Just fix that shit, bro! You'll be stronger, feel better and be happier for it.

They just use bodyweight and tend to do a lot for balance and form since you're using one foot and offsetting your weight with the other leg... Might help with a kinesthetic approach to getting your squat back up. :3

I've been bench pressing between 195-215lb for over 1 yr, depending on the day if i feel good or not, im a 5'10, some dudes tell me i dont look like i can do that weight and they do more.....with a spotter that is doing all the work for them, I dont go to the gym to lift more than the guy next to me. on a few days that everything is going good i'll go to 220lb with a spotter, even if i do 2 reps, if the spotter has to lift that weight for me I'll just rack it. If the spotter is lifting you are not.
if you are asking me, yes. Doesnt matter what you lift, as long as you are not hurting yourself. A lot of young guys do a bunch of weight and the spotter is doing much of the work.

your squats were way to legit. you forgot to shoot your knees forward and shoot your chest forward and then make some weird deadlift type move while the weights on your back, then promptly sit down for 10 mintues so you can do another set of heavy powerlifting....

It is recommended that you don't use clips on bench press so that if you fail a rep, you can tilt the bar and dump the weights to your side. I speak from experience....
SD I prefer to throw the bar to my hips, stand up and then rack it myself. It looks badass even when you fail. I’ve done this with some pretty reasonably heavy weight and never had an issue. So I always use clips and spot myself

your squats were way to legit. you forgot to shoot your knees forward and shoot your chest forward and then make some weird deadlift type move while the weights on your back, then promptly sit down for 10 mintues so you can do another set of heavy powerlifting....

It is recommended that you don't use clips on bench press so that if you fail a rep, you can tilt the bar and dump the weights to your side. I speak from experience....
SD I prefer to throw the bar to my hips, stand up and then rack it myself. It looks badass even when you fail. I’ve done this with some pretty reasonably heavy weight and never had an issue. So I always use clips and spot myself
