Slick 50 I heard you say Joe Casto, holy moly my dad and Doug Roberson, and Rick Kirk introduced me to him when I was 5 years old. I had one of his “Screwing up perfectly good cars since 1957” shirts back in the 80s. I hope he’s still dropping axles!! Unfortunately my dad, Doug, and Rick have left this world. I don’t remember a time i wasn’t going to Chickisha, Wichita, Tulsa, and Springfield swap meets. We stopped going to Pate it got to $$ for our budget. Kelly Horton is still in Glencoe striping cars, selling second hand parts, and making shirts in his 80s so I know Joe had to be going strong. They all were at it until the day they graduated to running the streets of Gold. Haven’t smiled this big since dad passed away!!
This video just popped up in my suggestions and I recognized the front of your shop. If Puddin gave a shout out to this channel I missed it, but I'm subbed now!
Glad you found us! We tried sneaking into RUclips and trying a few videos videos so I could learn to film and edit. That's wild that the video popped up in your suggestions! Haha
@@OKspeedandcustom I'm in Edmond, Ok and watch Puddin every video. So I feel like with out location being so close and watching Puddin the algorithm actually got it right for once 😂
Slick so glad you started your own channel I love watching people do sheet metal work always looking to learn something new good luck and keep pushing forward you will make it big I’m sure of it. By the way nice dragster.
I did the mini tub on Bobby’s green 69 but Craig owned it at the time. I’ve done a bunch of 1st and 2nd gen mini tubs and would be willing to lend a hand if needed. Years ago DSE had a big library of step by step tutorials on their website. That diagonal shock mount tunnel is not fun!!!!
Congratulations on the channel. Just left one of Puddin's videos where he talked about your channel. Really like where you are going with the content. Not a fan of the music. Good luck with your channel. I know it will take a while to get going but if you stick with it you are going to do great! I am surprised that you decided to start your own channel because you seem so laid back and a channel is a lot of work as you know. Glad you are "going for it".

Yo Slick, glad your getting exposure! Working metal is tedious and does not make good content, like has been said on Puddin's channel. But from my limited experience and an old man mind, artist's work is not recognized. Slick 50- you are an artist!
Man that camero is super sweet I’m looking forward to seeing it more, what yall have done so far looks awesome. Ratty 69 Camaro is totally up my alley and I've never been a Camaro fan even but that's the only way to build anything go down to the inner structure and build out 🤘🤘🤘

Cool vid! I have a 69 Camaro with the DSE Quadralink and mini tubs. My panel goes straight across. But it has coilovers. You can probably go straight across and relocate the shocks.
I haven't made up my mind yet if I am going to use 4 link or leaf springs. I would like to 4 link it but I need to save up a few bucks for that. I think if I use leaf springs I will keep the staggered shocks so it doesn't do anything goofy under a heavy load. I want to do burnouts. I bet your car is killer. 😎
Puddin has offered to do that multiple times. He is a really good friend. The only reason he hasn't is because we told him we weren't ready for that yet. We are learning. 😎 Thanks again for telling Ronnie the business 😂

Good afternoon from Cape Cod again 😁 are you guys took off with the dragster on the trailer I could hear your u-joints squeaking, don't forget that 👍 does that thing got a hemi. Asking to be pretty awesome watching your building that dragster Slick. Charlie your Camaro is coming along awesome! I thought you guys are going to have to cut Wild Bill out of the car 😂 so far I'm loving your channel guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
Man, that dragster is too cool! The Camaro, all I can say is good luck. I always preferred the FireBirds over the Camaros. I think they staggered the shocks to keep the rear end from torque twisting. I've never worked on Camaros much, just helped some friends in High School, nothing serious though. So, I guess it depends on how many horses you are going to push through that rear end, or what type of suspension setup you plan to run. Most everyone had the slapper traction bars on those GM cars back in the day. Ladder bars were a bit too fancy for the poor blue collar crowd I ran with. I like that you guys have so many irons in the fire. Keeps up the attention span. If I had to bitch...I guess I am gonna do it. Music comes in a bit hot in the mix, but I like it. My only complaint. You guys will get it down. Its all gonna be fine. Viewrs subs will go up, and content will keep 'em coming back to watch more OK Speed and Custom! Let's Go!
I am pretty sure the shocks were offset to fight axle wrap. If you are one for naming things like that dragster i think Flat Line works for me. It was traded for some flat heads and with a little luck go's in a straight line.
I’m sure if you are relocating shocks to being both front or rear on rear end that, the piece can be mounted straight since factory they had one shock front one in rear but just my thoughts love the video
