The (1981-1987) Buick Regal is one of my favorite cars. I had a '87 Regal Limited ridin' on 14" × 7" chrome Astro Supremes and whitewalls, blue on blue.

First of all, I would like to start by saying that you do excellent work and I enjoy your videos!
I wanted to tell you a way to explain Sealer to the person who asked about it. Your answer wasn't wrong, I just thought this might be helpful.
Sealer is a 'Barrier'...! Sealer keeps the chemicals that you are spraying from mixing, penetrating or reacting with the chemicals underneath it. Newly applied chemicals can react with years old stuff in the surface of the car. Like my GrandPop used to say, 'There's a Multitude of Sins under enough layers of paint!"! He was Right.
He also used to say 'You can Hide a Multitude of Sins, under a few Good layers of Paint!'. He was right about that Too!
Anyway, that usually helps a painter who is New to Sealer, to get his head around the Sealer and what is going on there! I hope that both of Ya'll find this helpful.

I painted my Camry candy black cherry pearl over black. Complete color change used Grant 7. Got it to lay down but not as good as yours. Had a couple of body shops; however, have not painted anything in 14 years or so. People do not understand how much work it takes to paint something like your lowrider. Great job. Douglas Thompson

@1:42:10 Do you need to sand it down again if you are NOT adding graphics? It looks so nice once you added the last clear coat. BTW, found your channel and I subscribed because you are nice and slow in explaining what YOU do. Difficult to find auto body classes in Southern CA. San Bernardino Valley Community college is a joke, they have the equipment, just a lack of great teachers. You are a GREAT teacher. I would pay for your class! Beautiful work. What an artist you are. What do you use for the candy carrier? Can a paint job like this be done with 1K primer, 1k base , 1k clear to use as intercoat/clear/candy and flake carrier?
Done in silver and metal flake, looks like something that Liberace would own.

I had to laugh when You said You were using the D&A on low rpm - and You said listen to how slow it goes - and then You showed the video in 10X speed... It sounded like a dentist's drill! LOL 😂

Hey mate, awesome video, thanks. I want to apply some low rider type patterns to the roof of my '68 beetle. Gonna practise on other stuff first though. If you only have one gun will the flakes be impossible to clean out after? Or can you use one gun for everything?

If you are a painter and you dont share your experience with a person eager to learn......you're selfish! Not only are you selfish, but that makes you insecure. Childhood trauma causes the little boy inside of you to get scared. Mf dont even know sht yet and seeing him as a threat. There's more than enough work, experience, and bread to go around for EVERYONE!
