Amazing progress. That chromatic dragon is going to be so breathtaking. And the chameleon is beautiful. I love the castle homecoming. So precious and I’m finding myself tempted to give a SAL a go. I only have two WIP projects currently and I always get so excited seeing other people’s WIPS, so it makes me want to start more but I know I will get overwhelmed if I have a bunch that are part finished. It seems like a nice controlled way to introduce another WIP though as you’re doing it in smaller more bite size chunks. Oh wow! My sister in law works for LFC as well. Incidentally, I’ve recently gotten her into the cross stitching as well 😂 and now one of my friends has said she wants a hobby and is interested in cross stitch. Feel like I’m recruiting people to the stitchy side, one by one 😂 By the way, I absolutely love how you call him “lovely husband Dr Tim” makes me smile every time 🥰
Thank you so much 😊 I definitely recommend a SAL and there are lots of gorgeous ones out there. It's fun to stitch something at the same time as lots of other people and I generally find the manageable to keep up with...plus each section finish is a little win 😄 I definitely think everyone has a number of WIPs that they are comfortable with, whether that's 1 or 100! It's good to know where your own level is so you don't get overwhelmed. I think mine is probably around 10-ish, not all being actively stitched, but I prefer WIPs to be finished in fairly short order, not hanging around for years. It's so great you've been able to introduce others to the joy of cross stitch...and nice to have stitchy buddies 😄
So, you've ordered just a "few" pieces of fabric, eh? Hope you've got a large driveway with good access for the truck and forklift to unload those pallets! 😂
