The thing is, he is exactly like most truck owners, barely ever using it for the extreme situations, not towing much, not towing crazy distances, it's going to be just fine for 90% of truck people the way they use trucks, the numbers don't lie

I will say some of the materials in the Cyber truck are not the best that door got that small cut in it very easily your back covers already fading where are they getting these materials from China

There is a video about someone driving the Cybertruck to dead battery, the 48v system is still alive and turns for towing etc. But pull towing, it locks the wheels into park if you go over 2mph. That's kinda annoying. Wish it actually came with 500+ miles of range though, I tow a lot and go out of town a lot.

I owned 3 Toyota Tundras when I was in construction and home maintenance business. I gave up driving trucks a long time ago after getting my license to sell houses because it's just too impractical for me anymore. But as soon as the Cybertruck was introduced, I didn't hesitate to order one. I can't wait to drive a truck again!

I got a scrape on a stainless fridge and after a few trials with sandpaper where it did not show, and once the grit matched, it did a great job! Don't rush! Tomorrow is coming soon.
Lower center of mass and a lot of mass in that location translates into the Cyber truck feeling more settled/planted.
Love the red wrap. I see a rear view mirror. I thought Cybertruck didn't come with one? Also, to answer the gentleman's question, there's a YT'ber who did a range test with a Cybertruck until it wouldn't drive anymore. He was still able to turn the wheels even though the truck wouldn't drive anymore. He was towed by another truck by a tow rope to a SC which he had almost reached, thus the steering ability.

Love this honest and passionate interview vs the F-150 which is cutting production in half as it is NOT selling and Ford IS LOOSING 3+ BILLION on it's recalled EVs this year. I'd like to see a similiar video vs the Rivian which is having it's own weird problems as shown on youtube and people trading them in.

The insurance for this truck will probably be over $3000 a year you will save on fuel per say but you’ll pay on insurance they get you anyway you look at
There's lot of things you can do with stainless.
If you want a unique look polish the stainless till it looks crome.
Men worried about how the plastic might fade in the bed of the truck. That’s tough, you should see my smashed up tailgate and scratch bed from hauling snowmobiles. Just put some bed liner on it.
Does the lightning have more room in the back seat. And is the lightning interior width feel wider

About a quarter in he was listing the trim sizes of the F-150 but forgot the Flash trim size that is only available in 2024 orders

That shot of the three trucks illustrating size comparisons @ 2:33 seems distorted. I've parked next to Rivians and they are not larger than my Lightning. Maybe it's a camera angle issue or a result of vehicle placement in the shot?

Great video! Marketing across the board targets a wide range and highlights the extreme scenarios but 80-90% of users will not be towing houses and boats. For the average practical user this will likely be amazing.

Stainless steel scratches can be removed different ways including with coffee beans, wet sand paper, WD-40 and a slew of other tricks. The only issue with stainless steel is not letting it bread. It seems that wrapping it can oxidize the stainless steel and then it’s a pain to clean. I guess it has to be done right by a very competent installer.

On a serious note, don’t forget that Tesla’s Stainless steel alloy is a blend of secret ingredients. It’s like Coca Cola! The question is quite important in warm coastal markets as well as cold salted roads up north.

Here is where it’s discussed that the cyber truck owner is concerned about the quality of the interior of the Tesla being durable high-quality. I took my 2023 cyber truck to the service center and show them that my seats change color if they get damp from the passengers sitting on the chairs underneath a glass ceiling on black seats in the tropical heat. There was a factory representative there that immediately blamed me for their low quality materials. He said it was because I use lotion that makes their seeds change color. I asked the guy from Shanghai if he thought that I was wearing lotion on my shirt? This made him agitated and he raised his voice at me, saying that those are very high-quality seats, and they don’t just change color. Mine is a May of 2023 model Y performance. Hopefully the cyber truck interior is a better quality.
Regular WINDEX works just fine for HFS cleaning.

Looks like F150 Lighting is a real truck for truckers and CT is just awesome
It's actually more a Sports Truck. Ford should have gave it the Shelby treatment, lowered like the original Lightning. Then once they figured out more range with less battery they could have done a real EV Truck.

So I have to comment on when they were talking about the steer by wire. The only reason the only reason is because of the shape of the steering wheel and the steer by wire it makes the truck jerk of how accurate and quick it is

I think cybertruck will eventually get 500 mile range without the extender. Also it will be significantly cheaper to make and will sell for way less then it will sell for now

Great video, it took too long for the cybertruck to get here, and I have lost excitement for it. So much so, that this is the first cybertruck video I have watched. It was a good one for me to watch as as a 5 year model X owner who has used it like a truck. I have driven the rivian and the lightening and was holding out for the cybertruck. There is alot to be dissapointed about with the cybertruck compared to what was promised. Price, range, towing capacity are not even close to what was promised. I am still not sure what I want to do. I will have to see the cybertruck and maybe that will help. Right now, I am even thinking of going back and taking another look at the Ford.

The CT is really cool, but needs to be cheaper. The lightning is looking pretty great right now at its price point and has similar specs without the frills of the cybertruck
As a Ford F-150 Lightning owner, with a CT reservation, this was a great video. I appreciate the "big guy" perspective as I fit that category. Ford did a good job on their first to market EV truck, but they have LOTS of opportunity to improve their software. The OTA updates from Ford have been slow to come and underwhelming. The "look at me" aspect of the CT would be something I would struggle with.

Honestly I told myself I would never consider the Lightning buttt test drove one over the weekend and for 45k plus tax you can't beat it! Was very impressed with the features that came with the Pro model. I actually told the dealer I thought it was a higher trim.
Where u seeing them for 45k? I’d trade in my model 3 if I could find one for 45
Its 52k for the pro model and then apply the 7500$ tax credit. If you have a trade in would be even cheaper or if you know someone that can get you a discount for working at Ford@@Smi77y1

He's not going to drive the f150 once he gets his tesla imo. Based off his reactions, when a car is easier to get in, easier to drive, rides better, is faster, with more useful storage, while being smaller, so easier to park. It's a no-brainer if he likes the look of it 😂

As a F150 Lightning owner who is switching to a Cybertruck... the F150 is way more practical and useful as a vehicle. It has a lot more features and comfort. Why am I switching? Air suspension for offroad, Sentry Mode cameras, and dent resistance.

Except initial impressions it looks like the CT is poor for off-road. Better off getting a proper off roader and keeping the lightning

The Cyber truck will create its own niche market. Kinda like a Ven diagram pulling in buyers from other markets to create a unique category of buyers. For the most part most will never use this vehicle as a work truck. I see every brand of truck today being used as work trucks with company logos on them mostly for trade type businesses with the exception of the Gladiator. I think this cyber truck will be more of a luxury vehicle or status family hauler. If it fits in your garage and can be charged overnight, it will be very convenient for those buyers but I am still surprised to see how many people buy an electric car and don't have at home charging. Sometimes I see them waiting for an available Tesla charger at a local gas station which feels inconvenient to me.

Good point re future selling but even today i think i’d take the F150 lighting. The cyber’s backseat headroom is too cramped for adults, the 150’s backseat head foom looks much bigger..same as the front. The zero to 60 hype re: vehicles in general is much ado about nothing particularly when it comes to utility trucks.
I purchased a 2023 model Y for my wife. We both love the car. So now I’m looking for my retirement truck and after looking at this video. It’s definitely not going to be a cybertruck. There were to many things that I didn’t like.
I own a 2021 F-150 XLT and I have no regrets at all, looking forward to get the Ford Lighitng Lariat or XLT. I Loki’s Tesla however Ford is well know the capabilities and over all the practically of a real live truck owners.
Electrify America is awful as expected. Companies like EVGO and ChargePoint have for me, for the last 5 years, been pretty damned reliable. My only gripe in the last year is the growth in chargers hasn't matched the growth in cars looking for chargers but this only effects me once every couple of months and I've never been stranded.

I’ve got a Cybertruck on order, but there’s no way it will ever compete with my 5th gen RAM 4x4 Megacab diesel outside of speed and handling. These are Not competitive work trucks. These are mostly a novelty in my opinion. Looking forward to doing 0-60 in under 3 seconds in a truck!!

Cybertruck not having a tailgate step is a huge miss. Just like not having a rolling down rear window.

The window was on purpose cos the truck is Gass proof incase of gas attack or smoke ...so less openings is better
