    • @unmisfitminor101
      @unmisfitminor101 8 месяцев назад

      That’s because she’s a feminist. And modern feminists like her believe in propaganda like “patriarchy”. Basically it’s a fancy word used to blame some omnipresent yet nonexistent evil empire of “white men” for a woman’s hardships and shortcomings, as opposed to instilling accountability in women and making them consider it’s because of their personality traits and life choices. Deviants like these are a result of the feminist/Marxist propaganda. The best way to know feminism contributes to victim hood culture and dodging responsibility is when they view claims like this comment as “hate speech”, when they don’t consider the notion that comments like “You’re being a white male” isn’t far off from hate speech itself. If there are too much of the wrong people, a future generation of these kinds of people would be a reincarnation of the Nazis.

    As a non-binary, indigenous, professional victim, I must give you a trigger warning that I have PTSD, ADHA, DID, HVAC, OPP, OCD, AAAD, and a bad case of LMNOP. I get sever anxiety whenever anybody doesn’t acknowledge any of my conditions from the start. I shouldn’t have to inform you of my medical history. You should already know.
    Edit, generational trauma really you don’t have enough problems on your own that you now have to adopt something you perceive your ancestors may or may not have gone through. • @Cyanapanasati
      @Cyanapanasati 8 месяцев назад +7

      I agree with you there @moosecat. But, just to explain the theory of generational trauma to the original commenter, there are now claims that people are born with the trauma of the generations that came b4 us. It's silly, and again, another excuse for a person not to live up to their full potential or some shite. Something distinguishing? Idk
      And while I do agree that Indigenous folk both have had and still do have some of the worst issues facing them in the United States, the idea of generational trauma, from my perspective, would have to apply to everyone. We don't have to go back very far to find horrendous circumstances in almost everyone's lineage. Even da white man.
      I really wish that people would try less to make things more complicated than they already are. Focus their energy on helping out a good cause, like UFO research!👽 😉

    • @juliana.x0x0
      @juliana.x0x0 8 месяцев назад +5

      Generational trauma has been studied for decades but there's no clear evidence that there is any real scientific merit to the claim.
      I just looked up studies on it because it does seem like something that could possibly have a genetic component, as our environments can turn genes "on" and "off", but even that is circumstantial at best.
      The term I was thinking of, that is similar but different (one is genetic vs the other being environmental), is "secondary traumatization", in which someone develops trauma from the effects of someone else's experiences (like a parent being a holocaust survivor and becoming very neurotic or reactive to certain triggers, which could thus cause high anxiety in the child).
      So far it has not been proven that any memories or experiences can actually be preserved and passed down through generations, especially to the point of causing any kind of behavioral changes or distress.

And I fully support those that going thru what I just mentioned and just trying to live their lives and are not some man with facial hair that thinks putting a dress on means they are a woman and go nuts when they are kept out of the ladies room.
