This is one of those dudes who watch waaaayyy too much of that silly FreshNFit and Donovan Sharpe nonsense.
This dude comes across as awkward and unreasonable but if I'm understanding him correctly, his proposal isn't that unreasonable. He's saying he'll pay the rent, electricity, internet, utilities, food, pampers, clothes etc. and in return, she will cook, clean, and take care of the kids. That's how families have been for centuries in the USA, Europe etc. Just because he won't give her extra spending money, doesn't make him an awful person.

My ex husband was like this idiot to a tee. He did give me an allowance, tho, but it was only $30 a week, and only to pay for my medication. I remember thinking wait, I shouldn't be getting an "allowance " like a kid. But, he had made me quit my job, close my bank account, and stay home with our baby. I felt so isolated. And then he was actually shocked when I filed for divorce after only 3 years of marriage. He changed literally the day after we came home from our honeymoon. Tbh I stayed too long. Oh, I absolutely hate paying taxes. I like having a police department, fire department, and fresh running water. The most important thing I love is not being jailed for tax crimes. Idk why people complicate things so much, it’s not complicated. Honestly the only arrangement that makes sense to me is splitting your guy’s income proportionally. So if you make the same money, it’s 50/50 on finances, if a man is the sole provider and a woman stays at home, then of course he will be providing 100% of the finances. And finances are just another form of labor, labor is always 50/50. Chores, errands, domestic duties, etc, are also labor. But of course, you can’t always examine your relationship from the lens of how much are they/how much am I contributing, you just do things for your partner as they would for you because you love each other.

I had a similar date to this one. The context is a bit different. I was dating this guy for a while from my church. At that time in my life, I thought myself pretty close to God and felt good about where I was spiritually.
However, nothing could have prepared me for what this guy did to me after one of about 5 dates in total. He brought his Bible into my parent’s house and opened it up on the dining room table to a certain book/verse. He read it out loud so anyone in the house could hear it whether they wanted to or not.
It was the section in the bible that talked about wives must commit fully to their husbands.. be humble and basically do what he says when he says it. To be submissive to your husband. This was the mid 1990’s and I was about 20. I couldn’t have pushed him out fast enough. I thought.., well if these were his beliefs now.. could you imagine if I stupidly married him?!? I’m not a feminist by no means but all I can say is wow. I hope he has a horrible time trying to find “his perfect woman”. I feel bad for the girl. As someone considered a homemaker if you are the breadwinner you generally provide funds and the homemaker takes care of most other things. Okay. I’m a stay at home mom. I can tell you, for certain, that if my husband hadn’t helped me at all with the baby or housework those first two months I would have gone literally insane. The stress, the pain, the slow recovery from birth, the tiny wailing thing that won’t let you sleep to try to recover, the fear and anxiety of needing to take care of them… yeah, without help a mom would literally go crazy. Not just a ‘oh hehe she’s loopy’ crazy but a not good at all kind of crazy. You forget to take care of yourself when you have a baby because you’re focusing on them.
