Passenger in a Ferrari FXX-K at Circuit of the Americas! Parade Laps & Hot Laps

- I had the absolute privilege of being passenger in a Ferrari FXX-K. This was during the 2018 Ferrari Challenge and Corse Clienti event at Circuit of the Americas. We did a few laps with all of the XX Programme cars for a photoshoot and then some hot laps. I can't thank the owner enough for letting me join him. It was an experience I will never forget. Enjoy!

This car is my second fantasy to drive after an F1. The sound of the V12 is simply majestic.
Ferarri has one for sale for 10 million but you have to be in their program which you have to have previous ferarris and pay I think 250k+ for trackdays everytime. It cost to be the boss but keep grinding

Pagani zonda R has similar sound too if not not better
Unfortunately even if you have enough money to convince them to let you drive it you still won't ever actually "own" the car, plus they'll charge you out the ass for every single trackday. Love their cars but I despise Ferrari as a company

@@felipebetanzo6011 I can guarantee CVK happy with v12 as well. If he finds out how to reduce weight with v12 engine 100% he will plant it in his cars, he's sincerely fall in love with automotive since he was a little boy. That's why he's making his own production cars.
V10 / V12 is the best .

The run was awesome but the SOUND WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AWESOME! The sound of a Ferrari! Its engine creates actual music, and performs a futuristic sounding masterfully harmonized mega dramatic opera . Ferrari, the only one!

This may be my favorite post-2000 Ferrari. It looks like a concept render, sounds like Vivaldi composed an explosion, by all accounts is stupid-fast, and it's name is basically a censored expletive. Great POV, though you can tell the brakes are legit at the end of the long straight, lol.

Excellent. That driver is so smooth through the turns. I got to drive COTA last month for BMW M-track days in several cars. Hit 142mph on that end of that back straight in the new M5 but see he got to 175mph!! Amazing!!
@@w0nd3r6 This driver was nowhere near the true potential of the FXX K though, and both FXX K and FXX K Evo have DRS, the FXX K puts the wing down and leaves the winglets alone, that's its DRS (and they could have kept the movable parts on the floor too, but the massive diffuser hides them), while the Evo has a classic DRS on the fixed wing.
Damn it boy that car sounds incredible. Perfection perfection wow what a machine and hats off to the driver, you made that car look so easy to drive. The power this car makes is insane....I used to be a corvette lover, but uhhhhh, I think I just changed my mind!!!!

One did sell at auction that you could drive on the streets.
Most of them are not street legal
And CSR 2, but it’s so wasted in a game like that. No steering, no brakes, barely any environments. I wish I’d been young enough to have a console game like Forza but my wife would probably kick me out if I dominated a tv room with car games when she sees them only as a way to get from point a to b.

He could go faster in some corners, like 40% faster. He brakes wrong in almost all corners. But ok for an amateur.

It wasn’t an actual race so I believe he was babying the car a little bit especially being liable for a passenger in the car.
terrible driver, these cars deserve so much more. Slow through the corners and only concerned about jumping on the throttle in a straight line. Braking in the middle of the road entering every corner. These guys really need to take some time and go do a bunch of legitimate driving schools .
how did you end up in an FXXK?
If you don't know what the Corsa Clienti Ferrari programme is about, you should look it up. Basically, as each generation is created, the best clients are INVITED to buy a car. Starting with the 3 generations of the 599XX. With THIS one, the FXX K Evo, these folks were invited to cough up over 2million POUNDS. Ferrari KEEPS the car-you cannot take it home with you. Yo. Ferrari holds these Corsa Clienti weekend, sometimes longer and it goes like this, 'Mister Nick, we will be in Rio for the last week of July. Mark Elliott the numbers on the cars? No i dont think so. It must be a driver's choice. For example, there are only 30 FXX Evos, but one of them has the number 98 on it. So it is not about the order each car was built.
