Always was my favourite F1 car. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this was the last V12 engine to race in F1. It did so in the hands of Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger. It ran high up the order in many races and managed to win the Canadian GP in the hands of Alesi. Good memories...:)

SS454LS6 10 years between them and the way technology advanced in the late 90s onwards its no surprise the F2004 is way faster, its probably a lot lighter too, although it did seem like it was been pushed way more than Gene was pushing the 412

questa macchina era un cesso per favore, ha collezionato solo figuracce (non per colpa di alesi e berger) confrontata con i mostri con motore Renault (Williams e Benetton) rimane comunque un’auto affascinante e dal suono inconfondibile ma un cesso.

+Ferrell Nöpfer There is a very good reason why they would impose a rev limit. These engines are no longer made, and to break one would mean a indefinite retirement of the car and motor. You can't just rebuild or replace these like they do in a F1 season.

The 3 litre V-12 wasn't particularly high revving. I think the sound we've come to associate past F1 engines are the high revving 2.5L V-8's. I prefer those.
prolly cos of that uphill double corner that starts at 3:31, you can clearly see the oncoming downhill part that gets above actually in level, so any crash happens there you get oncoming flying debris head on...

Ye, I read one of the Corsa Clienti owners saying on reddit that on a f2003 reducing the rev range by 700rpm from 19000 rpm increases the driving distance between engine rebuilds from 400km to 1500km. Not really, it's a giant go-kart with wings. The wings is also what makes them slower than thew bikes, but makes the grip incredible

Don't really buy that. They have Mclaren Honda's from 1988 and 1991 that they still run at full rpms.
