- I have filmed several of the best sounding Ferrari Formula 1 cars from the past.This is how a F1 should sound like!
You can see how the F1 being started and leaving the pit lane as well on the circuit.
Listen to the sound of these F1 Ferrari's on the great circuit of Spa-Francorchamps in 2013.
That sound is so revelant to F1, it meeds to be remembered & continued into todays sport. It adds so much to the thrill of watching these marvelous machines!
Wish the modern engines still sounded like this beast!

Somebody a little ignorant said you can get the same sound from a superbike. The technical knowledge to make 12 cylinders sound like that is superior to a superbike. Plus the sound from Ferrari is richer and screaming more
When you hear the engine revving up, close your eyes and hear that V12 scream with all its voice, it gave me shivers.

At USGP 1990 in Phoenix. Opposite the pit, the raised seating fence separating the spectators from the track bent outwards over the track. Alesi #27 Ferrari came by. The sound bounced up off the track into our faces. It was awesome.

Sounds so much better than the F1 cars of today. The mechanical sound as it shifts up and down the gears, the scream as it accelerates out of a corner, and the fade as it drives off into the distance. It's the sound of man and machine working together on the limit. F1 cars Today sound like vacuum cleaners being managed from the pit lane.
