I've always found it extremely appalling how Beatrice was so easily redeemed and carried to Heaven by an angel after literally becoming Satan's bride and turning into a literal demon (I know she was pure and pious before, but she should've been sent to Purgatory at least after having embraced Lucifer's offer)
Yeah. Especially when Dante merely apologises and she instantly turns back into her normal spiritual self, and then Gabriel just appears and that's it.
Bitch please, the fact that she decided to turn herself into Lucifer's Queen, and then presumably have sex with him, would be enough to negate whatever purity she had at that point.
True but like Lucifer said she was the bait, Lucifer was really after Dante that's why Beatrice was able to get absolved and go straight to heaven no matter what her actions were and like you mentioned pious and pure she was also able to go to heaven but despite what sins you committed or not if Dante came across to you he would decide if you were worthy to stay in hell or go to heaven, he had the ability through the power of God. In Dante's inferno there's no need to go to purgatory you already paid enough sins when Dante gets to you and absolves you remember this is Dante's journey he has to go through all of this, all of the three kingdoms of the afterlife not you. It's the will of God as for him.

Idk if you played this game or listened to the first part, but the Devil had been trying to bait Dante. In order to do this, he approached Beatrice and made a wager. The wager being that if Dante was true and faithful (didn't cheat) she keeps her soul and doesn't become his bride, but if he does cheat then she belongs to the Devil. Beatrice trusted Dante and he broke her trust and fucked some prisoner lady. Hence her saying, "you gave me to the Devil..." yes, Beatrice was absolved easily because it was her husband that broke his promise and sent her to hell. She didn't technically do anything wrong. It was part of the bet. As for Beatrice choosing the pomegranate seeds...hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Dante broke her heart.
well its a game off of a fictional story. doesnt even correlate to actual church teachings in the source material

The reason why Beatrice makes a deal with Lucifer, THE DEVIL, is to ensure that Dante was being faithful, and him not being faithful, would damn her into hell, making her the devil's mistress
You know, cheating is bad and it's wrong, I get that, but I wouldn't go as far as making an eternal contracted deal and if failed, that make me become a mistress to the fucking prince of Darkness
being the prince/mistress/or whatever of anything is bad ass case closed

@@samsk1906 Dante and Beatrice are both to blame. The former engaged in every sin under the sun, and the latter made a deal with the Devil instead of just telling him to fuck off.
Also, Beatrice would be fucked either way, because Dante and Lucifer are both the embodiment of sin, except one actually wishes to absolve himself and the other doesn't.

The wager was if Dante was faithful Satan would return him safely from the crusades if he cheated then she would be damned to the inferno

Are you dumb- she didn't make a deal per say, he probably tempted her and she, in full trust and belief in her man, most certainly said something like "I'll go to hell if Dante ever cheats on me" and for lucifer that probably was enough to call it a "deal". Beatrice is Dante's hope. and Lucifer is his demon. he's fighting his demon and fighting for hope. and he's redeeming himself. he betrayed his hope, and his hope gave into his demon. dante rescues his hope and fights his own demon and redeems himself. THIS GAME WAS EPIC.

Yeah, that wasn't quite wise...but I suppose she just had that much faith in Dante that he wouldn't cheat that she thought nothing wrong could happen, and as part of a wager, I'm sure she would have received something good if he didn't. Besides, that strong faith is what attracted Lucifer to her in the first place and started this whole plot.

if I was Dante I would give up on her and move on, and secondly it is his fault that this happened to her. Dante should have kept it in his pants and stayed loyal and faithful. Though of course he didn't so Dante set in motion of damning her and led to her murder just so that she would be damned ASAP

She became Lucifer's consort as a result of the wager she lost. Moral to this story. Don't go making wagers/bets with PPLE (Satan/Lucifer) because you will get cheated.
