I hope that they bring this series full circle especially since it would be interesting to see how well and powerful the Horsemen work together as one against their enemies.
I knew something was wrong when I saw ma boi Strife not saying joke or insult. Also when War started talking about Fury becoming their leader (because, ultimately, it was always been and will be Death: the oldest and the strongest of all Horsemen).
I would like to have a nice thanksgiving with the four horseman, to give thanks to these awesome people for everything that they have done for us through. Darksiders 1 2 and 3.

I knew it was an illusion because Death would've never even think of lending his leadership to Fury, because he knows he is immensely more powerful than Fury and that he bows to no one, not even his own siblings If you're putting the pieces together and not focusing how this is the first time in the series where the 4 sibling are actually on screen interacting, then you know it's a trick That is a pretty clever tactic to test the players if they have played the series to this point

@Irfan Alddin Yeah, but Death is the strongest. War said it took all three of them to restrain him. It did. Killing him would have been much easier though. Besides, the moment Death joined the fray he was in fact immediately restrained. Strife didn't do fuck all either. Read The Abomination Vault. It's really damn clear that Death is leagues ahead of the others. Death tanked Chaoseater through the chest to save Fury and felt nothing. Instead he made a sassy remark about War's impatience and cut off his arm in one swing. How the fuck is War ever gonna beat Death if he literally cannot harm the guy? Death is faster, with his magic he is stronger, he has the better weapon, is more skilled in just about every area, more experienced, more clever in his approach, is far tankier despite what appearances would suggest, and is extremely competent with magic, capable of teleporting and summoning swarms of undead. War is equal skill-wise with Chaoseater to Death with Harvester, but that's it. Beyond that, Death is his superior in every single way. It wouldn't really be a fight. I'm honestly not sure even all three other Horsemen together could beat Death. He can survive direct hits from Grand Abominations and still fight on just fine, and these are the same weapons that instantly killed War during The Abomination Vault. They don't have the firepower to harm him, whereas the reverse cannot be said as Death can cut off his siblings' limbs in simple strokes. Death without his powers and without even his weapon was still equal to a prime time Samael, who is roughly the equal of Lucifer. It's also worth mentioning that the same version of Samael threatened to crush War like an ant, which he could. War is stronger than Fury and Strife by a mile, but he's still far below Death.
Anyone else notice that after the horseman show up, the camera is constantly tilting and moving, like Fury can't comprehend what's going on and is confused, hinting that this isn't really happening?
The fact that strife has the same voice as the human he disguised himself as is pretty good foreshadowing. The illusion is the only thing your thinking about in this scene lol.
Comparing Strifes voice from DS3 and Genesis, I honestly prefer Genesis version. It suits him better as “deadpool-ish” character among all 4 horsemen, feels more canonical

What's especially interesting about this, is that you learn Fury joined her brothers, because she did not want to die like her people, and that she's actually pissed off that she did all this for herself, not because of a greater cause like her brothers.

Darksiders 2 has better characters and level design, but in terms of combat, balance and gameplay, I will always rate Darksiders 3 much higher.
Strife looks so badass
Agreed, hope his game will be the best and hope that his horse is playable.
Agent Smith they are saving the best design character for last that's why.
@Agent Smith not really when he probly will have his own game sooner or later
@Agent Smith they're all the main character in this game
@@ShellshockDM187 this is no place for a horse
When Lust is literally, in person, telling you all your wants and desires for you and hers benefit, you know something's wrong. Thankfully never let it be said that you can't learn something, not just from this scene, but also about how to not make many mistakes in all of the deadly sin's names.
And wisest, most empathetic and secretly compassionate.
“You should not have made them KNEEL!”
4:35 Strife saying “Thy will be done” was probably the tipping point for Fury. Lol.
Do you get to the Cloud District very often?
Oh, what am I saying? Of course you dont.
Gtfo out here, nazeem before i fus ro dah you back to your precious cloud district.
I'll have you know that there's no pussieeeee
I would like to have a nice thanksgiving with the four horseman, to give thanks to these awesome people for everything that they have done for us through. Darksiders 1 2 and 3.
My favorite horseman of all time
3:27
4:10
I am literally crying after watching him 😭
*D E A T H*
Miss his old VA tho THAT was a perfect vlics
I got so hyped at first seeing all the horsemen, then slowly realized it was an illusion
Strife confirmed in dark siders 4.
I love that War is being voice acted by Illidan Stormrage's actor.
He is the best
You left out the most important part of the scene
"You should not have made them kneel..."
Her respect for her brothers far more than that
I just want to say Strife looks like a Deluxe skin for the Excalibur Warframe. I also would like to say I would not mind being spanked by Fury.
Wtf lol!
Neither would I tbh
Wtf i got to that weird part of RUclips again?
Tbh I'd absolutely buy a strife skin for Excalibur
Spanked by Fury. That is the dream.
@@Blazeness911 Until she break every bone in your lower body. XD
can we talk about how awesome the characters designed , its so dope
I love how lusts voice seems to change between male and female
They're androgynous, that's a typical thing when portraying an androgynous character
Wow, that Strife voice is giving me serious whiplash after playing Genesis.
Bro facts
*YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE MADE THEM KNEEL!*
War: you have my sword
Death: you will have my scythe
Strife: AND MY GUNS!
After years, all of the 4 horsemen are together...even is a ilusion
The Closest thing we will ever get to see of all the 4 horsemen together in a game :(
Oh my god 8 years in the making! All 4 of the horsemen finally standing side by-
4:42....oh...
You know I said the same thing when I heard Death’s voice.
“This - THIS IS NOT REAL!”
Whaaaaa...Michael Wincott isn't the voice of Death anymore ?!
...heresy.
"What is this... WHERE are my BROTHERS?!"
"War, my brother. Wait for me. I will soon have you back."
"YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE THEM KNEEL!
"Oh... and I'm not alone."
Sows how much they care for and respect one another
Sibling goals reached
I like the new voice they gave Strife in Genesis
Seeing Death in HD glory is beautiful.
I knew it was an illusion because Death would've never even think of lending his leadership to Fury, because he knows he is immensely more powerful than Fury and that he bows to no one, not even his own siblings
If you're putting the pieces together and not focusing how this is the first time in the series where the 4 sibling are actually on screen interacting, then you know it's a trick
That is a pretty clever tactic to test the players if they have played the series to this point
Honestly, the thing that gave it away for me was how easily Lust got killed, everything else just confirmed the suspicion.
It was obviously not real because the four horsemen wont meet until the seventh seal is broken, but i could also tell because there was no way any of them thought fury was mature enough, nor would they actually... yknow.... work with the council
This girl looks like the starfire
JohnGFull _ And War has the voice of Illidan
Which the Thunder Cats gem on her chest

Darksiders is very special to me, my father died around the time of the first game. I was hurt an mourning an I ended up grabbing darksiders 1 just to check it out. It took my mind of things jus by the concept of the game an because of that I will be a fan of the series till the end
Ahh Death The most badass and powerful horsemen I Love him
@Irfan Alddin death is the smart, strife the funny , fury dont think acrobatic , and war the strong .
@Irfan Alddin ya do realized Death is the one who cut War arm off in the comic right? and told War to chill.
@Irfan Alddin gotcha must be the new lore
"I have to go alone"
I only hope that this isn't the only time we seem the horsemen together
4:25 the soundtrack its just perfect
3:03 - 3:05 death noticed the camera panning towards him and quickly flexed all his muscle to looked ripped 😂😂
1st off death with a new voice actor, don't know how I feel about that and 2nd strife looks like he belongs in destiny
The Deadpool persona is just a mask, you can tell that from the serious moments in darksiders genesis. A lot of shit happened to him since then
I like how Death was like two feet shorter than he's supposed to be in the illusion.
i don't think they used the original voice actor for death, michael wincott. he barely sounds like him and the person voicing him kinda reminds me of steven blum, who voiced sub zero recently in mortal kombat x and injustice.
That's Reaper from Overwatch VA. I still wonder why they didn't take Wincott... :(
@@vanitas-5276 Odds are, they couldn't get Wincott for what would literally be one line of dialogue in the entire game. Wincott's had a lot of roles come his way since 2012, so he's in higher demand. His rates have probably gone up quite a bit.
@@FirstLast-cg2nk Yeah but still... if they ever going to release more of Darksiders with more Death in there I really don't want it to be Reaper's voice actor. I love Reaper from Overwatch but here... it just sounds so wrong...
It's definitely not him. I was hoping since War's voice was the same Death's would be too. I'd rather it have not had him say anything at all.
It's also likely that, even if Wincott wanted to do the role despite having almost no lines, he wasn't available.
The lantern that detects the deadly sins never stops glowing until lust is actually dead
So far, Darksiders 1 was my favorite, because of the action, the classic combat mechanics abd the story. Darksiders 2 was also very good. Darksiders 2 has pretty good mechanics and story, but the combat is kinda boring. I am still playing Darksiders 3, so far the story is great, the combat mechanics are also the old, classic ones like in Darksiders 1. So far, Darksiders 1 has the best story, Darksiders 2 has the best cutscenes and bosses, Darksiders 3 has the best combat and I can't wait to play as Strife in Darksiders 4!
I'm still waiting for darksiders 4

It felt so good to see Death again in person, even thought it's an illusion.
They look so damn awesome, especially strife!
I want the old voice actor for Death. His voice was so stoic. I loved it
Dead giveaway was that Death had his mask back after giving it up after the last game.
except for the fact the game takes place before the events of darksiders 2
Also not the same VA
@@ratarden5427 Does it? Haven't got my hands on it yet so I didn't know.
@@hunted4blood It does not, thats wrong. This game takes place on parallel time with DS1 and DS2. But not after. DS4 will also probably start on parallel time but strecth out further than other games in timeline.
@@Navhkrin no, it's ds1 and then ds2 & ds3 but ds1 again. Only first chapter of the ds1 is parallel.
I love how Fury knew it wasn't real wasn't from how her brothers were praising her and talking about working together. It was they fact they kneeled to her, seeing her as above themselves and lowering their dignity. She was angered not that it wasn't real, but from seeing her brother's honours be diminished.
Death should have wore the abyssal armor
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a clever and moving moment in a video game
Lucky they changed Strife's voice in the new darksider
"Death worked to free war and clear his name" casually mentioning the entire second game
Death's voice isn't right, and I'm glad they changed Strife's.
Fury won't admit it, but the real tip off was that Strife went 40 seconds without cracking a joke.
Or Deaths famous sarcasm!
4:57 - High heels and lantern earrings.. Well then.
So awesome seeing War again. Can't wait to play as Strife in the 4th game.
Pretty damn great ending
Explains a few stuff in Darksiders 1 such as where are the humans
Plus gets me excited for Darksiders 4
My only question is
Was strife disguised as the human all along.
I'm sure ds4 will end with strife giving ulthame or alya his pistol.
I think he was, but whether the makers knew I dont know, though I think ulthane at least knew because he was confident haven was defensible
I imagine that he "dies" in the end of 3. But saves the makers and giving them his pistols. In 4 we'll see his life on earth fighting with the humans.
Strife probably stayed on Earth to learn about humans.
What's especially interesting about this, is that you learn Fury joined her brothers, because she did not want to die like her people, and that she's actually pissed off that she did all this for herself, not because of a greater cause like her brothers.
All great characters but..
Death is king 👌
Death: This is no place for a horse
Strife looks like my Destiny 2 character
I get that was only an illusion
But *_MAN_* I hope we actually get that game sometime soon
I hope that Death having a different VA was because he was just illusionary. Also there’d be no reason to bring back Michael Wincott for a couple lines but you know
Budget cuts were a bitch to this game. Maybe if this one does well, we'll get the original va back. But then again i dont mind, this one is cool too

I've noticed during cutscenes the models are incredibly blurry, like they haven't loaded fully at times when jumped to, then become higher res. Is that an issue with your computer or the game? See 0:12 for what I mean.
It is how Unreal has been handling texture loading sing the U3 engine. It is a little side effect you get if the system "lags" behind in rendering the world.
Unreal Engine and bad optimization of the cutscenes.
You cut out the best part, "YOU SHOULD HAVE NOT MADE THEM KNEEL!" the last line in the dialogue and it lasts for about 5 seconds
