2 vehicle transport day, it’s slow. Using 25k GVWR trailer. Why I carry cones?

Adesa Tracy loaded a Chevy 1500, Modesto recovery loaded a sedan . Dropped off truck in Elk Grove and car at CARMAX in Sacramento.
Met a CARMAX company driver using a 2 car truck.

I finally got my class A CDL. Many instructors were telling me to go get experience first. The whole reason I paid 6k to get my CDL was to be a car hauler. Do you think I should work for someone else or someone else’s authority to get experience. I am very mechanically inclined and I saved money and the research I’ve done has been giving me a headache. So many people are telling me to just work for someone else. Much love you guys from Oregon ❤

Congratulations! It depends, do you have the money to buy your truck and trailer? Insurance your first year will be around 20k, this can be paid monthly but if you also have a truck and trailer payment your overheard will be too high. I worked saved and sold some toys to pay cash for my truck and trailer, only monthly payment was my insurance.

Yes it’s slow, it generally picks up in February (hopefully). I bought truck to resell but I’m drinking it meanwhile.
