I must admit this 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country does look very cool. However it could use a few more features to beat the competition.
    Features I’d recommend:
    - Full LED Lighting
    - Panoramic Sunroof
    - Ventilated Rear Seats
    - Sunshades for rear seat windows

Hahaha buy a gmc if you want cooled seats. The 3.0 diesel IS the competition. Keep your sunshade led lights and soy latte! I bet your truck doesn’t get 28 mpg with a 2” lift. Man up!

@@TieDyeKingGaming ram had a good truck 3.0 diesel and discontinued it I think last year? Roughly 50 hp less but it was the only comparable truck as far as mileage unless you count the 2017 f150 diesel that still had 50 less hp but similar mileage. I love my duramax trailboss I get 27-28 highway mileage and the folks with the high country or rst diesels get 30 highway mpg these are great trucks, I chose Chevy because they are $6-10k less than gmc and made in the same factory, but the gmc has lots more options like cooled seats, thanks for taking a joke my reply was a little harsh! But really I have been super impressed with my 23’ chevy 1500 diesel, I have towed a 27’ trailer through the Rockies with unmatched towing power mated to the 10 speed and the exhaust brake is nice when towing for a small engine. The 495 pounds of tq and 305 hp in a half ton is great. My wife’s Tacoma got 22 mpg at best fords powerboost gets 24 but will need a new battery at some point. The tundra is cool but I prefer 28 mpg vs 17. If you consider buying a truck and need to tow you should definitely drive a 23’ GM diesel! My opinion may be a bit biased, but I have driven several hundred thousand miles in duramaxs Cummins and power strikes. This truck for a half ton paired with the diesel is perfect for my needs!

The one thing other than worrying about if the valves might go at any second. The 5.5 bed is such a pain. Each time I go to use it. To short. (TWSS) Everything else seems fine. But I have to admit I should have looked at a Ram. Especially for the 2024.

My 2023 LTZ came with NO DFM. I am very about that. The only difference between the HC and the LTZ is the badging, grill, and stitching of HC on the headrests, basically. Save yourself about $6K-8K.

This video has a lot in it to make me laugh and some areas were the High Country gets cross checked by other brands. First off the chrome wheels are hideous, it's a reflective disaster as it rolls down the street. The fancy chrome grill extenuates how this truck was over done in chrome, NASA will be able to view this reflective pile from space. Lets head to the back where there is more crap to laugh at. From the video, the thin strip of LED that makes up the taillight during the day looks pathetic, careful Chevy, we wouldn't want you to over spend on the thin strip. If you can pull your eyes away, and its easy to do, lets move on to the multigate. While you try to prove your dominance in the parking lot by unfolding this in efficient system, your rivals will have their crap loaded. I like how they made the steps a great crumple zone when it comes to impact. On the sides, this is supposed to be the top trim, but you have to option to get auto-rails, seems sad when compared to other brands that reside in this price range, but once again, lets not over spend Chevy. All engine configurations have worse HP and torque compared to its competitors. How sure, you can toss in that the deiseal does better on mpgs, but when you factor in the DEF, high cost for fuel, how the engine drinks oil like a horse, and for winter you have to plug it in, the result just leaves you feeling like you got kicked in the nads. What about the tow rating? Easy assessment there, lack luster unless you pony up and add the tow package which most of you "High Country" ballers will not have on your truck, so you still end up sucker punched. Lets have a go at the inside shall we? The video points out the porous wood trim, not sure if that design made sense, as you put a few miles on the truck and you end up with speckled wood like you came down with an STD. If that didn't choke you, I'm sure you are still drooling over the over done chrome inside too, as if you didn't get enough of that garbage from the outside. I love in several reviews, views have pointed out the reflective wows, how they have had to cover the chrome or like one view, he ripped his out. Looks like Chevy is trying to make this some type of moving antenna with is massive amount of chrome, but to those that get off on shinnies, its right up your alley. Video also raves about the infotainment system, but if you have been following other competitors, you will know that its still smaller than competitors, leaving you with screen envoy. Don't get me wrong, you boys do a great job of being positive in your reviews, but you in the back seat comparing size, is the same as comparing average "membe^s", when you are the little guy, you think you are close to the larger size. What the video doesn't show is how your taller friends heads have a lovely head banging box cutout, thanks Chevy for pointing out the obvious with a box. The sunroof on the truck is laughable too, even that size is smaller than the competitors, which offer panoramic roofs. I also like how Chevy sticks to its roots and displays the the same round wheels of the later 90s early 2000s. As if this design is the only thing the engineers can come up with. In the end, you end up with a truck that still at its highest level can't compete with others.. As you get smoked off the line from other trucks, you can sit back and bask in the chrome reflectiveness of the truck in why you opted to buy this POS in the first place, which really smacks your nads hard. If that isn't enough, the High Country will leave you with little man syndrome when ever you are pulled up to the next guy with a real truck.
