I like the running boards that come out when you open a door, then can click the end with your foot to make it go back so you can access the bed. Can also close the bed with your remote, hit once then hold down. 😊
Thank you for taking the time to show the hidden features 🤙🏼 Unfortunately, there little to no video showing these items, and in the dealerships, they don't care to show you or tell you they're available.
Great video! I liked the outside mirrors bending by remote, but when I have the feature enable, the mirrors bend when my Silverado locks, always, and un-bend when it is unlocking. I would like to know if has a way to control when will bend or not the mirrors!
My 2020 1500 LTZ has all of those features except the digital display (I have real dials) and the no seat belt/no shifting feature. The second one would be a pain when we are doing field work and I have to move equipment around. As it is, I have to remind myself to buckle up when I leave to go to town or home lol.
I just got my Trail Boss LT and when go into the Comfort and Convenience menu, all I have is Chime Volume. Does this simply mean that my truck doesn’t have remote folding mirrors or the reverse tilt-down feature?
I have a 2014 Silverado, I’m guessing the 2024 has similar issues as mine. It took me a long time to figure out what the problem was with these trucks. It’s the part between the two bumpers, same problem for years!
On my High Country, you press the tailgate release on the key FOB twice being sure to long press the 2nd time until it closes. If you release it, the tailgate will go back down.
It locks when you lock the truck. If you want to confirm, lock the truck with the fob, place the fob inside and go back out and try to open it. It won’t :) until you have your fob nearby
I like your video. I played with my. I know it's a GMC 1500 but they're basically the same. I found all these mucking around with the instruments and stuff but I love your show. It's really cool
There ought to be a college course to help blokes like me to cope with all of the complexity. I would rather just be able to put my mitt on the tailgate and manually slam it shut or drop it open.
There is a cable you can disconnect at the base of the drivers seat where the seatbelt column comes down. Or go to a junkyard, find a model that’s been totaled, cut off the seat belt buckle and plug that in when you need it, throw it in the console when you don’t. I like having the reminder in general, but there are times when I’m hopping around doing a bunch of stops and the dinging drives me nuts!
Does it have a secret 12v power plug? I can't believe they thought that was a good idea. No 12v accessory plug= no buy. I should not have to add that. Usb power adaptors will burn up or go obsolete, then what? Morons!
I just got my 24 Duromax. No 12 volt receptacles and don’t get me started on the block heater plug in. Mary Berra needs to resign and put a car guy back in charge
@@rogerbobrowski5741 For what it’s worth, I purchased an ac to dc converter on Amazon that will plug into the 110 receptacle in the center console. It has the round, 12 volt socket on the other end.
I would literally pay extra money to have all these new automatic features permanently deleted from my 23 Sierra.. Auto stop, auto ebrake, rear seat reminder, incessant honking and dinging for everything… Rear seat reminder.. loool k yup my pile of work receipts, dirty clothes and McDonalds wrappers are still there Sierra please stop judging me thanks
Mirrors fold and unfold just by locking and unlocking the truck holding the keys is no necessary. Power up tailgate is just for the non multiflex tailgates.
So far so lame the remote auto climate is the first cool feature that hasnt Jesus been widely available since before 2007 my accord drops the windows with the fob or with the driver door cylinder
The tail gate features opening and closing are so extra. Not just Chevy but all trucks, Who needs all this tech to open and close a freakin tail gate? 😂. what can you possibly be loading in the bed if you can’t even open and close a tailgate yourself? So cringe. Nice truck though
"What's up guys?" or "What's goin' on guys?" must be the most unoriginal intro line for almost every car review video. Really? Come up with something new
Absolutely nothing the dealer did not tell me....just a video to make money. Want to do a serious video, explain how the owner's manual does not tell you what all the idiot lights are, and appears to be written by a 10 year old! GM has gone down hill faster than a one ton boulder and from this day forward, no more GM....going to RAM
My 08 Tahoe LTZ has 281,000 miles so was time to get a new vehicle. Never had transmission problems on mine, just saying. 🤷🏼♂️ I drive like I’m driving Ms. Daisy though.
My previous 2016 1500 Transmisson last 200K miles, had changed transmission fluid three times , then it started rough shifting, but still drivable not that bad, I traded it in get a new 2024 HD2500, love it, so I guess just need treat vehicle well and they will treat back well.
The average person would have no idea how many hidden secrets Silverado has. They do add to the character of the vehicle.

Cool stuff thanks! I wish dealerships would give a full orientation when you buy a vehicle!
The best dealerships do!
My high country came with a fishing rod / rifle holder under the rear seat as well. I've never seen it In a review.
Just got my ZR2. Can’t wait to see what this thing can do
Love my ZR2
Black Widow I'll take b4 this on

Correct. Not all trims have the same options unfortunately
This is great! Just bought a HC and knew about a few of these but 3 of them blew my mind! Thanks for this!
You can also raise the tailgate with your key fob. Click once, let go, click second time and hold until it closes all the way.
Nice job on the video. I personally love the hidden features.
I’m haveing trouble shutting the hidden storage compartment how should I close
There all great features but my Lariat did not have the rear view side mirrors tilt when in reverse coming from somebody who still uses them.
I have a 2014 Silverado, I’m guessing the 2024 has similar issues as mine. It took me a long time to figure out what the problem was with these trucks. It’s the part between the two bumpers, same problem for years!
Thanks for the info! Question - when I start my GMC Sierra 2004 the windshield wiper swipes once. Is there a way to turn this function off?
Thank you for this, I never knew I had another glovebox
Same, and the folding mirrors with the key fob.
What about the noise that it makes when you open the tail gate ? Can you disable that ?
The beeping?
Yes, it is annoying.@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville
How do you turn off tailgate chime ??
Omg this was so helpful!! Thank you
You also can press and hold on the tailgate button on the fob and it will bring it back up
Unless it has the tail gate step feature
Do you have to enable the remote fold mirrors setting for it to work when you hold the lock button?
Yes
How do you reset the trip or gas range?
if you press the fob tailgate button and hold it the gate will close as well
You missed where you could raise the tailgate with the key fob.
How do you raise it? My order sheet says Power Up and Down, but so far I can’t figure how to make it go up.
On my High Country, you press the tailgate release on the key FOB twice being sure to long press the 2nd time until it closes. If you release it, the tailgate will go back down.
Collision brake is not working on 2024 😢 any ideas in settings is on
Yea check your settings. I think its in the saftey menu. Should be set to Alert and Brake. Unless all you want is the Alert function
Can't believe you told the world about the secret compartment! It's no longer a secret now! Where am i going to leave my mini .380 at?
The truck comes with a boss system that doesn’t sounds like one i try equalizer but nothing changes I wonder if there’s a hitting future too
Connect phone with charger wire and it’s louder and better
I did the car play but nothing changes my work truck sounds better 😂
I equalized mine and it’s loud asf at first I was like this ain’t no bose lol now it’s loud and crisp nice bass too
@@JesusRamirez-ln1gdcan you send a video how to do it so I can do it

What's a good way to save gas towing
View my mind with #9. I was disappointed when I thought I lost it. Lol
Great video thanks
How do I pull up trans oil temperature
Switch to trailer tow mode and voltage changes to trans temperature
Duh! What button do you push for settings? That to me would have been your first thing to show people!
The one labeled settings
Where's the odometer?
Rear seat storage does not come in the RST!! Why???
it does only with the leather package
I have a 21 rst and I have rear seat storage and I don't have leather
It only comes with rear seat storage in the RST leather package 2024* apparently
I just got a 24 RST, Weather Tech makes a nice rear under seat storage container. Little pricey around $175 plus shipping, but nice!
My no show the speed limit warnings way

last two are not hidden every person highlights those
The wood looks don't match the black etc.. It looks really bad. Besides that its pretty good.
watched the whole thing, forgot i have the LT
To many electronic what happened to the good old basic truck

I don’t like that they deleted the 12 volt socket either. I still use my Garmin gps that requires one.

It's 2024: Why does GM still use a mast antenna?
To much money for a truck. Just my opinion
It is I spent 76k with tax and license for my trail boss diesel. But they aren’t getting any cheaper.
It is if you don't really need a truck.
@Slowhand871 exactly what I just spent on a 24 zr2. No regrets I love it so far
