20 years between trucks is crazy I have had 7 Chevy/gmc trucks in that span. I will be downgrading my Escalade to a High Country next week going with fully loaded version with Midnight package after market wheels are a must
Nice! I’m sure you’re looking forward to the customization of your new truck. Generally I’ll drive cars until they have issues. It was a great move for me since I hate having payments.

Good choice. I have the same truck, love this truck. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Duramax for me though, had too. Fuel and power are just too good.

Sir, amazing choice, you did a great job! I'm trying to get educated on some of the features. Does the Silverado have air ride suspensions and does the dual exhaust come standard on high country? Also, does it have parallel/perpendicular parking assist? Thanks for your time.
Aye thanks! To my knowledge, some models have magnetic ride adjustment (no air ride). Dual exhaust for all models and no parking assist. I say I wouldn’t use it even if it had it but I said the same thing about back up cameras and look at me. Using it all the time with this beast of a truck. I appreciate the reply. Could you do a night version video to highlight the exterior and interior feature of the Silverado? I ask, since majority of the vids in YT are daytime and it's difficult to see how it's like at night. For example, does the deployable running boards have LED lighting, what about lights on entry/exit, and what about the multiplex tailgate, is there a light back there for the steps, lastly how's the ambient light in the cab itself and is the HUD clear to see at night?Thanks for your time, sir.
@@vigileer great ideas for a video. I’ll look at doing that. Also, my model does not have the powered running boards. I have the Z71 package on my truck and I believe those boards come in a different package.
Does your truck have ambient lighting in the doors as well as in the foot wells?

Where did you buy bed the cover. Which one is it?
It’s the Bak Revolver X4S. I bought it from Real Truck. I’m a huge fan of it. Next week I’m going to post a video I made about it. Easy to install and very flexible for what I need. Overall it is pretty good. Now that I've got about 9000 miles on, the seat hugs me pretty good. I'll have a better answer in a few weeks after a road trip. Stay tuned I plan on making a road trip video at the end of the month, thanks for watching and commenting!!

@@mitchjones8694 it’s about where I landed. The way I went at is end of model year they were doing like $12k off the lower trim levels. I’m not sure what wiggle room they have left at the High Country trim. Maybe hold out until the end of the month?

You should do a restoration project on it. It's a classic now, and if it's LT with the leather, you can get Replacements and parts are available for it.
@@danielb-c9100 that may take place in the future. We’ll see how that plays out but definitely want to milk it out as long as I can.
