I see the note "Originally delivered to San Diego transit system in March 1960. Having started to drive for Greyhound in 1961, I immediately knew it was not an "original Greyhound. Greyhound , at least in the east, never had black seats in 4104's and never had "high'" drivers rear view mirrors. Black seats in the upper level of "scenics". Also the dash and entrance door was always painted green. Exterior of this coach is beautiful in the original paint scheme.
Yes, many differences from Greyhounds original standard features. We received this coach restored as is, but make it known what it's origin was so people understand its restoration is simply a preserved version of its model, yet with the flair of Greyhounds history. Our 1960 PD4104-4614 was a Trailways. That one is like a time capsule! It's nice to see one still intact. Beautiful coach!! It's in good hands. Oh No!! Half of the radiator shroud is missing!!! LOL! Thanks for preserving history Stan!

The 4104 is my favorite coach. My uncle, Leon Swendsen drove those & the Senics, MCIs till he retired in the mid 70's.
