Woooooow! Now that the video is finished I can stop drooling! Such a beautiful bus...and, a 1956 model to boot! I really love the paint scheme on the outside, and, the flared tire fenders are really nice, too! I will be moving to the road full time very soon in a Pleasureway Lexor TS (class B). Before I retired in 2015 I spent 38 years driving a truck coast to coast and now it's time to see all of the things God made that I didn't get to see while looking through an 18-wheeler windshield! No schedule, no boss, no log books, no hassles! I can hardly wait! Thanks for the tour! Have a blessed day!
mdcbert > I won't be crammed at all. I spent 38 years driving trucks with 70 inch sleepers, so, an extra 15 feet will do just fine...especially since it'll just be me living in it. After operating units of 70 feet overall, or longer, for all of those years the 21 ft. Pleasureway will work out great! Thanks for the reply!
Nice bus! Someone did a good job with the repower upgrade to the 8-V71. BTW, the switches and control box in the front left compartment were for the original air conditioning system that ran off of a 4 cylinder gas engine. The AC and the motor took up the first two spots on the left side, unlike the 4106 that had an empty compartment right behind the wheel. Check out my 4106 if you like on my channel.
Why positive ground? Converting to neg ground is usually just a matter of changing the voltage regulator and diodes in the alternator and a few connections for dash gauges. Maybe a few other connections due to the conversion like the inverter
no.. Because the air flows up under the bus and exits outward thru the radiator. its a Push fan. the flap helps dam the air and push it thru the radiator harder. works quite effective for a 4104 thats had a V8 crammed into it.
mdcbert You are stupid. It doesn’t come from the manufacturer like that because it reduces air flow to the engine. Bernoulli’s Principle. Go get an education.
As good as this coach is and the builders have a good rep. I will still look to have my own done my way I just don't think I could be really happy with someone else's vision/dream.
Certainly a lot of money went in to it. The caps, those hedlights, the fender flares, nevermind the windows, shame it hardly looks like a 4104 anymore. You've got the streamlined art-deco windshield area and bumper surrounded by as much 80's squareness as possible, many conversions went this route back in the day though.
Unobtainium is what they are. Same place in OR that made the caps and engine doors no longer around. You’d have to find some laying around or buy a parts bus that had em. But I can’t say I’ve seen them on any bus except this one.
a very beautiful bus and nicely rigged, but neither the spare battery (no shield on the positive terminal either) nor the propane tanks appear to be secured. That might cause problems under the wrong set of condition.
Get rid of that rear full length mudflap under the bumper ... just ask 'BUS GREASE MONKEY' .... he'll tell ya that's a bad thing that disrupts cooling. FYI
That's not really "restored", unless you're referring to the restoration of an already heavily-modified bus. It certainly doesn't look like a 1956 "anything", never mind a 4104. I've never understood the incentive to modify the style of these classic coaches beyond recognition. Maybe some people don't believe that the 4104 was a handsome vehicle and its stylists knew what they were doing. Best of luck.
You've got a beautiful bus there all Shiney, my favorite part of your bus is the engine bay well done A+!!
Wow so beautiful , i'm iranian and realy love the old school american bus , amazing 👏🏻👏🏻😍😍
Nice all around RV Bus
There’s a lot of engineering marvels in that beautiful unit.
This is the most beautiful bus transformation that I ever saw. WOW!

you will like a bus better than being crammed betwen the engine and fenderwell of a class B.....

By Crammed, I meant, where you sit in a Class C, between the engine and fenderwell.... van based cabs suck.
mdcbert 👍
Unbelievably clean engine bay. Beautiful.
A classic bus where the beauty of the exterior is matched by the interior. Very nice build.
Gotta love a guy thats always dropping the price he paid.
Fabulous, first class workmanship. Congratulations. I’m not envious, not one bit :)
Thank you for extensive tour.
Absolutely Beautiful and the sound is incredible !
Beautiful coach well designed its fun to see the old ones restored thanks for sharing.

Love your 4104 ....my family converted one back in the 70’s ....we are FMCA members and our number is F1253....we joined in !968
The engine upgrade is impressive.
Yes, you could eat off the thing.
Nice
A coach we all we would all like to have.
Beautiful bus!
This looks very comfortable ... ready to go ....... have sum fun .. Drive all around the Good OLD USA
It certainly looks like it’s been well maintained. So many old buses are rolling accidents looking for a place to happen.
Oh yeah??? What does your bus look like? Or do you even have one?
Nice bus
Thats a beautiful bus my friend
Very nice !I like the engine rebuild ...;the coulors Is fantastic !
Vent those batteries, hydrogen gases , small spark and that's all it takes, That is one Beautiful bus
The outer door is vented.
Nice coach!
BTW, the awning is a "Dometic".
Beautiful work.
Beautiful work of art.
Omg i want one so bad with that engine. Beautiful bus.
Gorgeous bus!
That's my cousin's bus! Awesome.
Does he let you borrow it for the weekend?
@@gj5250 I wish! I want first dibs if he wants to sell :)

Beautiful!
Yes, it is! Are we going to be featuring Opti-force 1 here sometime soon?
This Old Bus yes!

Gorgeous!
Geez that's nice!
This is without THEE nicest 4101 ever!
Gorgeous 😎
He is in Oregon too. Having her engine rebuilt right now.
I pulled over of course........
Nice!
Excellent, but the full length rear bumper mud flap hinders engine cooling.....
Aus1 Absolutely correct.

mdcbert Wrong
@@zaptor1514 Im pretty sure that you dont know what you are talking about, clearly this is working just fine for him..

I am spending my kid’s inheritance.

The '04 is not restored as it is heavily modified, but a beautiful job nonetheless.
True, it is custom! Thanks for watching.

Less money than a new Class A for sure......
Can I please get one for my birthday?
I been good..☹💭☺️💟
Would love to know more about those fender flares.
Any more info??

Where did you get that cool o.d. green engine paint.
Btw, this bus is beautiful.
Napa carries it in a rattle can

Propane tanks are secured and batteries have been as they've always been since 1956.
What is the asking price?
I will buy this
Yesterday no question...
I like the little Trump bobble head, really cool.
Don’t forget your Dramamine when watching this video.
Those propane tanks around all of those electrical boxes&hook ups...would make me......nervous..🙄
If you ever want to sell it, please let me know.
Get rid of that rear full length mudflap under the bumper ... just ask 'BUS GREASE MONKEY' .... he'll tell ya that's a bad thing that disrupts cooling. FYI
Right its now been modified.
Love the Trump bobble-head by the sink. #MAGA2020

Can you say "Hydrogen explosion"? Excess Hydrogen gas, rather confined, + air + spark = Boom.
I think that battery compartment is ventilated but if they were not properly maintained yeah, boom.
Absoluely beautiful rig! Absolutely ugly bobble! lol sorry~
yeah! maybe you like socialism and welfare....
If you're going to hype a solar company you should probably learn how to say their name.
Jerry Plante it is hard to remember little things when you get that age. At least it is for me. 😁
