We travel around in our vintage 1962 GM 4106 bus called Cruisin' Classic. We'll cover interesting bus and RV conversions - builders, creators, hot rodders, and gearheads that have decided to convert something on wheels into a home. We'll have an emphasis on house systems - electrical, plumbing, inverters, tanks, floor plans, and so on. We'll always try and show how things are setup, built, done, and created - so you can incorporate these ideas into your own projects.
Jeep wrangler CAN-C canbus error FIX - replace STAR connector
Our 2019 Jeep wrangler JLU was throwing every possible error code on the dashboard and sometimes was unsafe as a result. The dashboard would completely freak out and sometimes the engine would die. After 2 months at the dealer we got fed up and decided to take matters into our own hands. The errors were related to the Canbus, specially the CAN-C data bus that most of the computers use to communicate in the Jeep and many other Mopar vehicles. Adjusting Allison V730 transmission shift points

Our internet-famous mechanic Joe shows me how to adjust the shift points on our recently-rebuilt Allison V730 transmission. The transmission was winding up to 55 in 2nd before shifting to 3rd and was also hunting between 2nd and 3rd when trying to drive around that speed which was annoying. These adjustments improved driveability a lot.
Replacing worn out steering prop shaft on a GM 4106 bus conversion

I’ve had an alignment, and in pursuit of straight line hassle free steering I’m replacing the prop shaft that has some worn components in it. Bus has a Sheppard power steering upgrade modification on it which requires shortening the stock prop shaft.

We bought a 1962 GM 4106 with a Detroit diesel 6v92TA and Allison V730 transmission in it. The bus has a roof raise, original back glass and windows, and no holes cut in the sides to maintain the original appearance.
