Man was hoping to see some way to fix the old esc. All esc are on back order and have been for like 4 months now and I havnt been able to use my scx24. Anyone know of a diffrent esc that will work with the jlu controller
Can you help me out am in Nigeria, having issues with my son's 2.4GHz when you turn is on it keep flashing the head light not moving, what should I do?
Make sure to set your throttle endpoints Neutral, Forward, Reverse. I suggest YouTubing your model of ESC with a "how to set endpoints" and that should get you squared away.
I had something similar happen but it gradually got to that point and for a little bit it would only jolt forward an back in a really inconsistent manner and i lost my steering completely. I am thinking of replacing my esc but idk what is truly causing this. any ideas?
@@MK-RC I do. I have a '70 with front and rear aprons, hood, deck lid and fenders (+lights) from a '63....and rusted out pans! haha awesome. 68 to 70, they tend to be difficult to tell between those years. Mine has been sitting in my garage for quite a while now. need to split the case to get at my hydraulic lifters (1776 MoFoCo, dual weber 40 IDF's). What are you running under that lid? I am really liking the roof top patina you have going on and the ride height! Not to say that I don't like everything else that I can see in your vids where your beetle makes a cameo, because of course I do, it is a beetle after all! :D Cheers! Sorry about my beetle biography. Sub'd!
Thanks for the Sub. I love hearing all the beetle stories from every walk of life! They've been around for over 70 years! As you said, my specific late looked the same from 68-70, so it's hard to tell. As much as we all like patina, the final step on the labor of love that is never complete is paint and body.
Pairing can be challenging. Be sure to hold the bind button before powering on your receiver. The battery and motor must also be plugged into the ESC before being powered on. Hope this helps!
I've been switching most of my micro crawlers to power craze radios. They seem to work great with lights and all
I'll have to keep that in mind. I've been using FlySky Radio's!
Awesome...I knew there was a binding issue...just didn't know the process. Ty so much.
Didn't know how to pair. This is perfect really appreciate it
Good job sir
Perfect instructions!! Thanks a lot man

What if you have no steering but throttle and new servo?
Thks. Same issue.

Will the ae6 work with the HRZ00014?
Thank you

Not sure about an ESC with the JLU controller. I may have a stock ESC on hand. I'll take a look at my parts storage.

Tell us more about the Bug in the back!
Hi, is the new SCX24 ESC/receiver compatible with old (like C10) transmitter?
I'm not sure. I'd consult with your local hobbyshop. If they didn't change the electronics significantly between models, I'd wager it would work.
What brand tape are you using?
I'm using 3M double sided tape! I've had more success with it than other brands.
@@MK-RC noted for the future ☺️
Do I put it in ch2 or str ?
I got a new esc and I only get steering but no throttle ?

Thanks this help me a lot!
Just put a brand new motor and a brand new esc still doesn’t work and it’s still blinking red what do I do now
Wouldn't it have been much easier to put a volt meter on the motor output terminals on the ESC?
I had something similar happen but it gradually got to that point and for a little bit it would only jolt forward an back in a really inconsistent manner and i lost my steering completely. I am thinking of replacing my esc but idk what is truly causing this. any ideas?
Sounds like your ESC is likely the culprit. Axial will happily send you a warranty replacement. I've had great luck with them in the past.
@@MK-RC ive replaced my esc and still nothing. i bought a new one since its only 20$
Think you can answer my question? I'm grounded until I figure this out. All the V2 electronics are OUT OF STOCK.
I'd imagine this is directly related to the national electronics shortage.
nice beetle! '70?
Close! It's a 68. Do you have one?

Did everyone throw the book out... transmitter first. Unless we sadle a dead horse or motorcycles on the right hand side..LOL
My reciver won’t blink?

I posted a short video going over the pairing process. Hope it helps
