    If you are talking about a transfer, agent, and negotiation, you can do something even better.
    1. When discussing a transfer like Sivertesen's, the estimated value range can be quite tricky in the profile, so the first step is to engage with the agent and ascertain the realistic range. After that, "declaring interest," the news will provide us with a single value, which is very helpful for transfer negotiation. To lower stress, I suggest offering 70-80% of that value in the transfer, with additional unrealistic add-ons or long-term goals, totaling around 120%. For instance, for a player valued at 10 million, offering 7.5 million in transfer and the remaining 4.5 million in add-ons or 60% in installments plus 30% in installments and 20% in add-ons, totaling around 110%. When pressured on transfer fees, offering 35% upfront, 75% in installments, and 20% in add-ons, totaling 130%. Of course, this means paying more in the long run, but it's manageable compared to the benefits of staying in a top league.
    2. Regarding the Almada deal, the first step is to review the player's profile, specifically under "Player Information" and "Agent," to understand their attributes and type. Then, proceed as previously discussed. However, I believe there may have been overpromising and overpayments made to Almada in various aspects.
    3. Never be afraid of being the first mover and offering less because 95% of the time those interested parties never bid for him. But if others engage in the transfer, we offer higher and negotiate in one sitting rather than going back and forth. This is important because engaging in a bidding war could result in paying even more. We take the risk and offer less, but if we have to pay more, we pay.
    I hope this help new players.
    Good Video.

      great thoughts! On the declarating of interest though, have you found that it alerts others clubs? Especially in the case of a relatively unknown bargain signing

    I'm still on FM23 but had to learn that agents aren't enemies like they were in 22.
    Still looking forward to see what the good relationships with agents actually is doing for me. Nothing seems different and their patience bars aren't going up (yet?)

    Setting your wage budget at the minimum before entering contract negotiations will cause the players to be more likely to accept a lower wage. Not as effective when you’re competing with bigger clubs though. This also works when you’re doing contract extension with your current players.
    You can also increase the agent fee a little bit after they accept your contract offer (before finalizing) to build relationship with the agent.

      Ooh, great tips! Very good to know on the dropping wage budget especially

    I really like your videos, always feel inspired to go play and try tactics after watching and helpful in learning how stuff works.
    Any chance in you doing videos on some of the obscure attributes, especially mental ones(e.g im not sure what conentration really does compared to smth like anticipation)? The game gives a description but in many cases i cant really properly figure out exactly how that translates into game. Leadership/captains and if it impacts the match engine also come to mind.
    If you could somehow sort of highlight the impact of overlooked stats similar to how you showcased positions (could use editor to change stat and then give side by side comparisons), then that would be cool and might help people in being able to evaluate players if they want to do something specific.
    Its niche enough to where it might be something for the future but imo its something that not many videos cover, usually just grouping stats together and calling a player "smart" for example rather than focusing in on a specific stat.

    One question/request could you do a video about training schedules? I find them very daunting and could benefit from your explanation!
    Thanks again for the amazing videos!

    Personally, I always request lower wages and demands which are in wight I tend to remove. I also hate app bonuses etc as I feel in the long run they can be a financial issue. I prefer to have a slightly higher wage than a lesser wage plus bonuses which pear year amount more than actually removing them completely.

    • @theavgdad
      @theavgdad  4 месяца назад

      hundred percent, those bonuses can definitely add up FAST if you don't watch out for 'em. Worth considering how many games the club plays as well (Sheff Utd vs a Liverpool, say, or Brazilian league)

    I always use the agent as its a pretty good way to instantly see the value and interest of a player. In many cases the scouting hub will be outdated/wrong. For anybody interested its a pretty easy way getting playtime or wage demands down by a bit for very little risk.
    I do have so questions though if you or other watchers can fill me in. Once a contract is signed, do wage rises decrease the likelihood of a player wanting to get a new contract layer on as they develop? Similarly, do signing on fees have an impact on a player feeling "underpaid" and wanting a new contract? If a player gets given a big signing bonus to make up for them getting 60k per week and theyre worth 80k per week for example, can the game down the line recognise that their overall contract is fair or will it only follow a logic of "player is getting 60k but is worth 80k, time to make them feel underpaid and want a new contract". Same deal with goal/assist bonuses.
    In general i also find that on my Frankfurt save (won the treble after 4 years through some good wonderkid dynamic potential luck plus essentially just repuation/contract length flipping since a £10m player signed moneyball style can easily be sold for much much more a season later) has new players making playtime demand way beyond their ability vs my squad and i wonder if perhaps its because im underpaying my current players relative to the clubs new high repuation. Perhaps the game first sets wage expectations that are in line with the new player moving to a worldwide reputation club and then since those wages may be very high up in my wage structure, they end up wanting playtime to match their wages. Tempted to experiment by using game editor to set wages to different extremes and seeing if player/agent demands change in an identical situation

    • @theavgdad
      @theavgdad  4 месяца назад

      congrats on frankfurt!! And honestly, that sounds like a damned good experiment to do because I for one couldn't give you too many definitive answers on exactly how that goes. In the negotiation itself it's a simple system of main wages versus concessions, but as time ticks along I personally would be reduced to guessing. If you do end up experimenting on that, I would love to hear what you find!

    Just watched all your videos on setting up tactics and player roles. I need your help with this.
    FM24. Playing as Liverpool. Running a 433. I have Trent inverting to midfield, Szobo/right midfielder as a Mezzala (A) , who pushes into the half-space and right winger as a winger (S).
    The problem is I have Vinicius Junior and last season he didn’t even get 10 goals in all competitions. I want him to score more goals. But I’m planning for my left full back to play as inverting full back, meaning my build up shape will be 3-2, like Man City/Liverpool irl. Which means it doesn’t make sense to use Vinicius to play as an IF(A) cuz then no one will be utilising the left flank at all.
    My question is, do I play Vinicius as a Winger(A) to provide width or change my roles to accommodate Vinicius as a primary goalscorer IF(A)? Which is the right move?

    • @theavgdad
      @theavgdad  4 месяца назад

      I think you're having the same problem IRL Liverpool is with Luis Diaz there, when he cuts inside and Gomez plays behind the left flank is just dead and the defense compacts up. It's up to you, and I think as well depends on what your left 8 is doing - what role is he? And the 9? To answer your question directly though, I would personally use the Wa on Vini to start with, since he can still choose to come inside onto his right foot as a winger, the role doesn't actually force the player on the outside anymore

    • @Ghostrobo1011
      @Ghostrobo1011 4 месяца назад

      @@theavgdad thanks, currently Vinicius is a IW(A), instructed him to stay wide but I’ll switch him to a winger like you said. Nunez is an advanced forward. So far I’ve followed your videos and the tactic works well for me, but every now and then my team scores very few goals across a week or two. I’m wondering if these ‘box’ formations really are that much better than using traditional fullbacks to attack.
