Keeping Tree Compact vs Monster, Umbrella Tree, Schefflera Actinophylla, Nov2023

Umbrella Tree, Schefflera actinophylla, is getting a big trunk chopped/hard prune. Taking ⅔ off the top! We’ll see if it survives the operation.
Most store don’t bother with this plant variety in favor of the smaller leaf or variegated varieties. I’m excited to add this to the collection-It’s lower light tolerant, lower water tolerant, and an excellent indoor grower. Всё равно большая 😏 Возможно ли каждые полгода укорачивать верхушку на одно соцветие с целью пробуждения нижних почек для роста и есть ли способ уменьшить размер листьев?
