Setting A Portulacaria Afra Apex with Bonsai Wire, Dec2023

Portulacaria Afra are fast growers, and excellent for a Bonsai. It’s important to create a proper Apex. This is the top of the tree, and it looks past one the tree top is coming towards the viewer. Today I will wire the Apex give it a little bit more movement, and bend the top towards the viewer.

I appreciate this and I agree with you-I too was surprised how much changed with the overall shape when tweaking the apex.
