Technology is like Herpes. Super easy to get and nearly impossible to get rid of.
Because the people that made it don't want it to be easy to uninstall. On my phone it doesn't even show an uninstall option. It shows disable.

@@alynsak on mine it only shows uninstall but it reinstalls automatically anyway. And it doesn't allow me to force stop it

When we delect all this app from Facebook does the app will use safety and the notifications will come on basis
Facebook will work in usual way n notifications will also appear as is. These 4 apps that you uninstall will do background activities and that will be stopped. But your actual Facebook app features will remain unchanged.
I disabled mine, is that fine? I don't see it running on the background anymore.

Yes. It works as usual. I'm also using it.

hey bro should we uninstall that cloud service of mi com.miui.cloudsync , cloudbackup, cloudservice. I already uninstalled analytics,facebook services and all if there is any anonther app stealing data plz mention some names im currently on redmi note 7 pro.
Thanks for your comments. These cloud apps won't run unless you use mi cloud. U can ignore.

Yes. Block all the access.
it got rid of the 3 services, I give you props for that. But it still shows the Facebook on my phone. How can I get rid of it completely?
If you uninstall Facebook and messenger from play store, followed by the tutor shown in the video - you should see anything by name 'facebook'.

No such hacking can be done. No worries. But these apps will steal some data from your phone like - which apps you use (but won't go inside apps), how many hours a day you use phone, your search and shopping trends etc.

Short answer - Yes, you're safe from those apps.
Long answer -
Really not sure how safe are we when using chinese mobile phones, as we can't get inside the ROM.
Even samsung steals some of our data for advertisement, especially in few M series.
Even with Google app itself, our data being saved.
Not* your phone company collects data their apps and these bloat apps are not trustworthy
Samsung is not trustworthy
Tmobile/Sprint not.

No phone data will be removed. Only Facebook apps will be uninstalled. Don't try unless you are an advanced user or familiar with system

Can we "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.katana?" and "com.facebook.orca?"
These 2 seem to be part of Facebook app itself. If you uninstall Facebook, these 2 will be removed automatically

Yes. But ensure that you don't uninstall sys app which are required for booting the phone.
adb devices is not listing my phone details, am using mi note 4, please suggest.
Once you connect your device to PC or laptop and turn on usb debugging, ensure to do the below:
1. Accept the pop-up on phone to give usb debugging permissions.
2. By default, phone will connect in 'charge only'. Change it to use media.
It should work, as it worked for many people on many phones!
I'm trying to do this on the Motorola Moto G7 Supra, but neither the IMEI tapping works and it doesn't have Developer Options. When I connected it to my PC, it didn't detect it. Any advice?
Developer options to be enabled by tapping build number 7 times or google it as 'how to enable developer options in moto phones'
