No computer, no root, no shady apps - you can now remove any bloatware app with nothing other than your phone.
Since it relies on the new Wireless Debugging feature built into Android, this method works on most Android 9 or higher devices. Some OEMs disabled it on Android 9 and 10, but all OEMs have it in their Android 11 builds.

I have a pretty bad habit with being online too much. Followed the guide to a tea and removed any ability to have the internet on my phone and.. badabing. Works like a charm. Thank you

As one grows older and eyesight decays along with arthritis, the larger screen is very much appreciated. For updating apps and receiving attachments via messages and email, wifi can always be used.
There is a reason why the government wants everyone to have a 'smart' phone with data, registered with gmail, along with digital crypto currency, and its not for consumer convenience. Its all about control.

it does work, btw disable also same as unistall coz it means the apps didn't use any data exchange whatsoever, only the apk exist but not the function

I can't even pair mine retryed about 5 times cause I thought maybe I put it in wrong no idk what I'm doing I'm putting the right code for pairing and port and it's saying unknown command pair

wish if it was available for Android 10 too. i don't wanna upgrade to 11 and i am really happy with A10. but sadly it's not possible to remove bloatware from A10.

just how?... i try it on android 12, 1 hes not giving the pop up of wireless debugging connected. 2. i can,t copy anything on the shell command?... please explain?...
@@Exploring_with_Photograpy_ In LADB, Go to Help> reset server. Worked for me because the first time I tried to sync it with my wireless it errored out and had to factory reset the app. Also, I recall the notification being slightly different from the video. Which can happen because the notification is from a different version of Android and not the app. Also, under the help menu there are common error messages with fixes.

If you don’t have wireless debugging, you can connect 2 androids with an otg cable (you need USB debugging on).
I hate when you get a six minute 'how to' video that is 5 1/2 minutes of meandering before the important part - this is *_NOT_* that kind of video, you may even need to take notes.
Help i can't uninstall Google Files because it says Failure [not installed for 0] and also thanks I could uninstall 9 apps that I didn't need 👍
Pffff.....it's just uninstalling the app for the current user. the app is not shown but it's still in the system which means it's still taking a space in the device storage. Better rooting then uninstalling using system app remover.
This is the next best option for devices and people who do not prefer rooted devices probably due to company security policy, financial/banking app restrictions, or just by preference. The rest of world does not behave like you do.
The app package might still occupy space but is rendered disabled for the urrent user--not utilizing memory resource or cpu time. And the user can still use the device without breaking any security policy. Well look at that.

Tysm for the help I originally saw an article with a tutorial which ended with errors and no fix, but this helped clear everything up and now I have successfully removed the super annoying T-Mobile app that spams my notifications with no way of muting or disabling it.
Tysm for saving me an a trip to the hospital due to an inevitable stroke I would've had dealing with T-mobiles app

(4:13) You could instead use 'Editor' (blue/white icon, and from F-Droid) or 'Simple Text Editor' if you have stuff like those or another plan text editor.
i got just usb debugging option. i don't have wireless debugging option in developers mode. mine is Samsung galaxy j6 with Android 10 update
This just disables the app. It does not uninstall it from the phone as you mentioned. It still takes up space
It still takes up space but it won't run in the background or appear in your app drawer

@@expotism If you use unistall command through ADB the apps will be uninstalled (You will get space freed up). But when you factory reset your device these apps will return.

Uninstalling some OEM bloat apps can crash your OS.
That would only happen if you don't do it correctly

*Also Downloads can also be important but that isn't always true*
It doesn't restrieve the storage, ive seen, it's like if it were hidden giving you back the data and cache space it has been using. I don't know why does this app exist I wasted time

The package of apps will still exist in the phone storage,in this way,you will disable the function of bloataware hidding them.Anyway,it is good for saving battery,the bloatware wull not run.

I love the LADB app. I used it to uninstall bloatware in my Samsung S22. I use MIXplorer to find the package names. This method works, and it is easy.

soo complicated and too much process you gotta deal with. keep up with the work and maybe one day the whole process this could be as easy as having root.

After doing it one time second time the LADB app was in Starting ADB client mode only and hence not able to put in the shell command to remove packages could you please guide further.

How do you get past the "Waiting for USB debugging..." line when trying to connect wirelessly?
I wasn't aware of the peace of mind I had until I recently switched from a Nokia to a Galaxy FE. Man those shitware apps started installing as soon as I turned my phone on. Didn't even ask for my permission and never gives me the possibility to remove those dam apps. I just miss the stock android.

Awesome video super helpful! I used it to disable link to windwos service as i have a mac. However i mostly wanted to disable it because it keeps asking to update on play store and i wanted to hit update all apps without it being there. This didn't seem to fix it as the play store still recognizes the package is still there. Is there any way around that? I help would be appreciated, I don't like updating apps I don't use.

The true is you did not uninstall the bloatware,the package of bloatware is still in the memory of phone,in the end if video,you will see that y are able to install again,that means the package of bloatware is still in the memory of phone.

I updated my LG Velvet to android 11 and still no wifi debugging option.
Can this be used to remove or disable the awful Tmobile boot screen? My phone was originally Sprint and is now unlocked and off Tmobiles network, but that awful boot screen that installed itself over Sprints when I inserted the Tmobile SIM is still here.

so in this method, you were not actually deleting the app but just the data, and leaves the app in the size of, like 300kb perhaps, is that it?
you are uninstalling the app, but it doesn't remove the installation file, so you can install it again if you want

Wow. Awesome feature. Unfortunately, I'm using Realme X in android 10 and realme managed to hide this option. Let's see if I get the option in android 11 or not.
Couple of questions. 1) my Samsung a12 says "successfully paired to localhost ... " I am not getting the "wireless debugging connected" notification. Tapping in the SHELL COMMAND window is not bringing up the keyboard for inputting. Could this have something to do with the speed of my internet connection? 2) My interest in this exercise to remove bloatware to free up internal storage. Will I achieve that while leaving the APK's alone? 3) must each of the many apps be uninstalled/removed one by one through this method? 4) Does it matter in what order a person backs out of this exercise/project? i.e. "first turn off 'wireless debugging, next ... " 5) do you have a list of bloatware apps that are safe to be removed? THANK YOU!
I hit "restart" on the phone as one of the commenters below suggested and now I believe it is about to function. I wasn't required to input "port" or "pairing" numbers. Message: "Dropped into ADB shell automatically. Success!"

The ladb app didn't offer two windows for the code, I wasted on three quid on nothing the instructions in the app didn't work either.
