I flew Aer Lingus JFK - FCO and Return on coach last week. Flights were clean, Spacious and ONTIME! They finished boarding at least 15 mins before the departure time. Love the US pre clearance in Dublin. JFK - FCO long haul sector they had a food service. NOT on short haul even though DUB - FCO is international. thats the only drawback. They could have offered at least a small bag of peanuts and a free drink like they do it in US domestic. Somehow the check in service at JFK T7 was horrible. It sounded like the staff is working for free. They are third party agency. They were very rude and ignorant. I asked if they were accepting TSA and she looked away. She was really rude. I had a question about the mileage club and i did not even want to bother. The entire staff was not that nice at the check in. But aer lingus cabin crew on all four sectors were super nice and very professional. I would definitely recommend. Try to book through their website for good prices. They serve lot of US major destinations and connecting to Europe.
I know the United States and Ireland have an agreement to allow US citizens to go through immigration in Dublin before coming back to the United States. Im not completely sure as to why it leaves out of C though. It arrives in C because coming back is considered a “domestic” flight
Watching this because in January im about to fly to manchester england out of boston with a layover in dublin, its my first time ever leaving north american soil.. idk how to do the checkpoints or any of that stuff
Thank you for watching, when it comes to layovers all I had to do was scan my boarding pass to my next flight, and then buses took us to the departure area, I’m not sure if it’ll be the same.
