You need to spread the butter they give you on the bread that’s why it’s a bit dry! Irish soda bead tends to be dense so need to spread something on it or dip it in soup! Congrats on the engagement and glad you enjoyed the trip!
Aer Lingus are 100% budget airline now. for example even if you want a beer or a glass of wine on a trans Atlantic flight you have to pay for it as if you were on a RyanAir flight, Meals are extremely basic. Companies like KLM, British Airway, lufthansa you are provided free drinks and food on European flights. An economy meal in an airline like Etihad would be on par with a business or first class meal on Aerlingus.
AER LINGUS IS NOT A BUDGET AIRLINE ITS THE FLAG CARRIER OF IRELAND AND ON The SAME LEAGUE AS BRITISH AIRWAYS IN MATTER OF FACT AER LINGUS AND BRITISH AIRWAYS ARE OWNED BY THE SAME COMPANY IAG FLY WITH RYANAIR THEN YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT LOW BUDGET AIRLINE
Hey! Thanks for covering the Shamrock, really nice video! But Aer Lingus is not a budget carrier, Ryanair is. Aer Lingus has the same reputation as Delta, United, British Airways etc. But airline food is never that good from my experience! I won’t eat it unless I really have to or it’s included lol. I’m curious, would you fly with them again?
PREP COACH MIKE Good to hear! I don’t like to be biased but I feel they run quite a tight shift and staff seem genuinely happy! Thanks for sharing your experience though :)

Thanks for uploading this mate, flying with them next week not sure if I should pre order from their online menu or just wait and see what their normal menu is like inflight.
No I know Ryan air that's a flying bus (and not a Pullman as they say in Italy) I know Aer Lingus is a national airline but there fares are much less than most of the majors but only fly to a limited number of cities in the USA kind of like Norwegian Air or Icelandic so I think of it as a discount air line and I don't think of that as criticism. My wife is traveling on Aer Lingus to Seattle
Quite frequently. Even after the two main service runs, they come back in between a few times and see if you need anything. I was always under the assumption that you can always ask for more drinks/snacks whenever you feel like you need one..
Aer Lingus is only a budget carrier within Europe. Their transatlantic service is on a par with/or sometimes even better, than all other carriers crossing the pond from Ireland. The food is genuinely quality fare in all classes.

They’re the national carrier definitely NOT a low budget carrier

Why are you getting so mad Jesus 😂😂😂😂
Thanks mike am flying from Glasgow to Dublin Dublin to Orlando with air lingus in May thanks for the information 👍
Good Video, Mike! Glad you had a good experience with Aer Lingus. They're the Irish National carrier....Ryanair is the low budget Irish airline
Aer Lingus is no longer the national carrier. They are in fact now, British owned. IAG Group.
@@Someone-dv8ujActually IAG is Spanish 🙂

Heck yeah! Their food AND service on economy class was pretty damn good; very attentive flight attendants

They’re actually a semi- low cost airline. So it wouldn’t really have the same reputation as Delta etc. I get what you mean though 👍👍
@@seanmccormack3735 The name you are looking for is "Hybrid airline". jetBlue, Alaska and previously airberlin are examples for hybrid airlines aswell

Awesome review ! Lol you never need to pay for extra food on a full service carrier, which EI is on longhaul flights !

If you're vegetarian I would suggest preordering. If not, allow yourself to be surprised. You might be in for a good meal.
@@MikeLandon_TANCNUTRITION Thanks man, appreciate it!
You dessert looked partially eaten. What's up with that?
wine, well champagne and beer and Spirits are not shown here. You have to pay for those items anyway
Hey bro, 1st vlog f yours dat I fully watched, but I've only seen 2 vlogs s far!😉 EdwinC
I always thought of Aer Lingus as a discount airline as it only connects to specific cities it cost is lower
Ralph e that’s Ryanair you’re thinking of, Aer Lingus is the flag carrier

Aer Lingus is a semi-low cost airline. I think that’s the word your thinking of 👍👍
Thanks for the video. Do you recall if beer and wine were served free for economy passengers? I fly Aer Lingus in December.
I dont drink so I never asked :-(
I believe it is free with the meal!
not is not you would have to pay
All alcoholic drinks have to be paid for in economy.
chris byrne I believe this is changing soon though... it’s one of their plans along with free WiFi for economy passengers.
Definitely NOT a low budget airline lol
it is
How often do they come round for drinks and snacks?

PREP COACH MIKE ok thanks
I think you are not premitted to video crew without their consent. This is a European carrier.
Instead of moaning. Be nice if you had a microphone..😮

No even in Europe they are not budget. If you want budget you need to pick another airline
