I used to call my butterfly, the "drowning stroke" (head and both arms come up at the same time). Now I'm beginnng to improve so I dont look like I'm drowning anymore ☺
I’m about to learn swimming for the first time in my life! Well…I attempted 4 years ago until I had to stop before I could complete it do to losing a very special family member. I’m nervous yet so Excited. I’ll be looking at this channel for inspiration, tips, and just plan help lol
@@LeanAndMean44 hello bro, i was disappointed for not receiving a response when everyone had received one at the time and awaited one. i then decided not to renew my membership for the following year for being left out and probably due to a misunderstanding awhile back. the misunderstanding may have to do with an interview with Ksebati and two other of his colleague (Charlie is an awesome guy, and another swimmer) wanting to know my goals and we stumbled on the flipper topic. basically, i was listening to his opinion and kept quiet about it when at the time i had been receiving support from an ex-olympic champion who advocated and vouched its use differently. Ksebati hounded me for my silence on his opinion and i assertively said to him "you're right" or along the lines. "content and people skills" are what retain my patronnage and financial transaction over a pure transactional interaction. at the moment, MySwimpro is no longer my primary source of support and content to go to, though at times they have good contents. it has been a good fruitful and super duper year with the support i am receiving from other professionals in the industry, i feel completely empowered as a person and swimmer. a good support system is very important, especially on how you are being treated. thank you for your comment and much appreciated. happy swimming, man.

Excelente video cómo siempre. Mariposa es un estilo muy cansado pero es el estilo más genial de la natación para mí. Saludos y muchas gracias por tus videos.
I have a hard time not lifting my head when I breath but I lose so much momentum and can’t swim a whole lap because of it. One time I managed to do it right but swallowed water. It sounds like I need more practice on the dolphin kick first
I swim with a mermaid tail as a hobby, but I'm not the greatest at swimming outside of it, so i'm trying to learn this so i can swim better whether or not im using a tail
I saw that key hole style pull is used but you said you can also pull in a straight line. Can we do the pull in a straight line instead of S shape? Please create a video exclusively on pulling in a straight line. I don't agree that butterfly is 2 freestyles combined.
I tried to follow your video and started butterfly but after doing 6-7 strokes, I am getting tired and stopping right there. Can you suggest what to do? Also, I want to know if the technique shown here is the most right and for beginners or is it for intermediate swimmers?I have problem with arm movement and I find the arm movement you shown in this video difficult to do for more than 5 strokes. Please suggest steps so that I can do butterfly for 50 m at a stretch without getting tired?
Like a lot of other videos you do not show a side view of swimming butterfly for a continuous series of several stokes so you can see and understand the full sequence. This has lots of views of less than a full stroke. Could be more helpful.
Many swimmers look up and keep their chin at the surface of the water! However, breathing down while learning fly is a great way to practice body position
It's requires alot of skill , concentration , full body muscle fitness & strength. Both fast twitch & slow twitch muscles .This technique will Catapolt your fitness into another dimension .My boxing coach taught me how to swim butterfly & it improved my boxing 🥊 almost overnight in technique , speed & knockout power .Try this or spinning class .
@@kelvinnaidu6329 lol I see purely as an body exercise. Cuz otherwise in terms of actual swimming, butterfly is inferior freestyle in terms of speed and inferior to breaststroke in terms of adaptability. It uses up a lot of energy (especially compared to backstroke) and is notoriously difficult to learn for beginners. 😂
I would suggest speak slower, and provide slow motion video. This helps a lot of beginners, not easy to synchronise brain and muscle when you are just about to start.

Ok,but you did not explain a crucial part. Timing of the kicks with respect to hands rotation. Saying 2 kicks per rotation (you didn't even say that) isn't enough. Also, the black chap isn't an example of a good swimming technique. Why include him?
I’m sorry to say that I have changed my mind about getting one pretty much on the account of watching that terrible terrible video. The gentleman just rambled and rambled.
i want to show this to the people who try to swim butterfly in the swimming pool, there was an old man who love to swim butterfly but actually creating tsunami in the pool🫥

I was starting to notice in the videos and wonder about this! Thanks for explicitly pointing it out!

OMG thank you for this! I feel like a drowning worm trying to swim butterfly 😂🪱💦 Maybe now it'll look and feel better!!
You got this!
Same here... hahaha!!
Lol! So true this made my day!
Yeah I always called it the splashy sea-monster, but same thing 😂
How did it go after one year? Trying to teach my son the stroke sequences seems impossible.

Good video on the Butterfly but you didn’t talk much about how to do the Dolphin kick.
Most difficult to master this stroke
What video editing program do you use? it’s fantastic!
I’ve been waiting for this one!
Hope this helps! Happy swimming!
Thanks for this video its very helpful :)
The best channel for swimmers 👍
Very Informative and helpful video.

This came timely ! Thank you 💕!
So glad! Thanks for tuning in and happy swimming!
May we swim relaxingly in a long distance with butterfly stroke?
Very good video. Thank you.
molto bueno presentation...will surely try this
Thank you 😊
What your goggles model ? I like it
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO❤❤❤❤
Thanks coach❤
What‘s your PB in the 50m fly?
you actually swam 68 miles in 1 month!
great channel👌👍🏼
Awesome!
Why didn't my arms fully come out of the water?
Maybe because you were too deep in the water or you have short arms
@@Murdermason-h4h How do I not go too deep in the water? Should I angulate a little less?
no you should try to not breathe out as much air so you can kind of float
@@Murdermason-h4h Oh, I see! I'll try that and hopefully, I can improve my butterfly. Thank you so much!
@@dreamcatcher2557 no problem!
My hands doesn't come up of the water. Please help me
Can l use three dolpin kicks for each butterfly stroke instead of two?
That would throw off your rhythm! Essentially you want to kick once when you pull under the water and once when your arms recover over the water
Like a lot of other videos you do not show a side view of swimming butterfly for a continuous series of several stokes so you can see and understand the full sequence. This has lots of views of less than a full stroke. Could be more helpful.
Good
My leg muscle hurts alot ...
Do we look down while breathing?

Yeah
Hi it is cool
Yeah yeah
Do you have to stick your feet together or can you keep them a little bit apart for butterfly?
together
Do kids who take swimming lessons need extra supplements apart from their normal food?

What a load of crap, to far underwater, downward curved body, the hands should come UNDER the body, NOT outside.
