Man I love these new Small Buicks. The Encore GX Avenir and Envista Avenir look absolutely amazing especially in that Ocean Blue color!!! I really think they will have a huge seller with this new Encore GX even more so than how well it is selling now. But I think with their new Envista it will sell even better and be their #1. It starts around $23,500.00 and tops out around $31,300.00 with all options. Sure the Envista is FWD only but it is gorgeous and comes with lots of features and a fully loaded top trim Envista Avenir with the optional package(s) rings in at only $31,285.00. I mean wow. Same for Chevy with the all new Trax. Sure it is FWD only as well but the price is unreal and you can get a fully loaded top trim Chevy Trax 2RS or ACTIVE with all its optional package(s) and it comes in just under $27,000.00!!! However you can get a really well Equipped model with some options on say a Trax 1RS or LT and stay under $24,000.00 which is hard to do. With all the Subcompact cars going away I think alot of people will move to the Chevy Trax and Buick Envista. I love the Buick Encore GX in these videos but when building a fully optioned Encore GX Avenir with all the boxes checked it comes in just under $40,000.00 which is a bit high for a Subcompact SUV but hey I like small vehicles with alot of options so some people will pay that and I probably would if I wanted one. When you check all the boxes you do get tons of features like surround view camera, self parking, rear view mirror digital camera and so on. But I would go for the Buick Envista Avenir with its optional Package and its total price of $31,285.00 and its almost a foot longer than the Encore GX and has a much larger rear seat but a little less cargo room but way more sporty styling. Good job Buick!
It’s a little too small for me. I like the Envision better, but I think that it could be a touch bigger in the cargo area. A third window on the side would help too. I saw the Envision Plus online and that would probably be just right, but it isn’t sold here.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this crossover here my favorite is the ST which has always been I the middle model here in the north
Nice looking car. The Buick Envista in China is said to be the new Envision for 2024 in the US. Nice lookin! Only issue is that they will all look like the same vehicle in different sizes. Other than that I love Buick and wish them luck on their mission to attack a broader demographics. I think the new image and design might work. I have the 2023 Envision and Enclave just wish the new badge was on it. Like what they did there.
Too small...but let's see what they have in store for the Envision.? I heard that the Enclave will get a full redesign for 2025. Saving my $$$ for that!
I don't know why they had to make it look like a Kona (Like the 2020, and 2021 ones) ... I feel this is a mistake, and I hope they fix it, within a year and 1/2. I like the 1.3 turbo motor. .. I drove it, in a Trailblazer.
My wife owns a Buick Encore 2018 model, we bought it because it was on sale. I like the model the design, but honestly it looks like Buick doesn't know how to make it hybrid with better mileage and compete with Kia. I own the Kia Niro and I get a lot better mileage with a slight bigger engine and a double clutch transmission not cvt. I wish Buick with their stylish models would include hybrids in their lineup.
You can't be serious when you declare "there's no question they hit the ball out of the park" when Buick continues to stuff those anemic 137 and 155 horsepower engines in a class of SUVs where others are offering nearly 300 horsepower. The Avenir is nothing more than a gorgeous house with a termite problem. Buick is not listening to their customers who have complained about these engines for years now. My wife liked the looks of the Encore and so I acquiesced and purchased one in 2019 but after 2 years, both of us had finally had enough. If all one does is tool around town I suppose they'll fit the bill but it's not fun to drive on 4 or 5 lane roads when you need torque to merge or lane change safely. You lean on that pedal but that little 1-liter and change might as well have been pulled from a Fiat 500 Pop. It's high time Buick addressed the appalling lack of power in the Encore line-up. They're handsome SUVs and I get it....owners (I'm a former one myself) don't like it when others slag their chosen ride but to paraphrase Brian O'Connor, "those SUVs deserve better engines."
@@nevg21 You might be the only one on the planet to use the term "it moves!" when speaking of the Buick Encore. Thanks for starting my day off with a chuckle though I'm certain that wasn't last night's goal. I'm going to guess you haven't owned many high horsepower vehicles in awhile. 137hp was fine for this segment.......in 1995. Moving on....HP is most certainly NOT overrated. Torque, which most often accompanies it, will get you out of trouble real fast when you've got some snowbird nitwit from upstate down here in south Florida driving 55mph in a I95 merge lane causing one accident after another as they snail their way to Applebees. Torque is your friend and the Encore has just a smidgen more than a 1998 Nissan Altima😫 This is why auto review experts, for years mind you, have ridiculed the Encore's engine. It's these kind of engines that have given Buick the "old man in Boca" optics for the past two decades. I suppose they're content to tap into the "137hp is enough" crowd while their dealership parking lots have little to no traffic. Consumers need to stop accepting mediocrity from a company that once gave us the Regal GS (fantastic car of which I owned as well). To close, the only thing I can think of that's worse than driving these gutless Encores is having to be on the sales floor trying to sell them with a straight face.

Ahhhhh I need! I have an old 2017, wanted the GX 2 years ago glad I wanted cause boy this is a beauty!
From a distance, it looks like a baby Lamborghini Urus in the front.
Maybe a little! Either way, it’s still luxury 😀
Or a Ford Escape
@@dave1956 funny thing is the new Escape tried to look like the Envision.

Beautiful! Put a hybrid in it and I'll buy it!
Great video. Very informative. Is Heads Up Display available on the Avenir? I don't see it on the Advanced Tech package.

Wonder how the cvt in the fwd is?
Wake me when they offer a hybrid or plug in hybrid and automatic lane centering
I’ll keep you posted.. 😂👍🏼
Don"t think that's ever going to happen. Your next GM option will be an EV.
Love it! Can’t wait to trade in my 22 gx!
Nice!! Good choice

No. Full ICE
Not a problem if you put some pop into that ICE.
I’d drive the ST
