    Buick should rethink its decision not to produce the Wildcat EV and to only produce SUVs instead. The Wildcat EV could save Buick and revitalize its brand. Another boring SUV isn’t going to do that. I’ve never even considered buying a Buick, but I would buy that Wildcat EV in a heartbeat if it was real.

    Buick has been doing this for a decade now! They tease with there prototypes that never see the light of day! BUICK is complacent in its SUV lineup and still will not take risks on a traditional car like Rivera. You will never see these in showrooms!

      Hi @jamesfox665, I completely understand your frustration. Buick has definitely showcased some incredible prototypes over the years that many of us wish would make it to production. It seems like their focus has shifted heavily toward SUVs to cater to current market demands. While it's true that concepts like the Riviera spark a lot of excitement, automakers often use these designs to test the waters and gauge interest. Buick is making a huge mistake if they stop producing gas cars and only offer electric garbage. People don’t buy electric because they don’t want them because they are not trustworthy like gasoline powered cars. The reason the manufacturers design the electric cars to look very attractive is because they know people aren’t interested so they are trying to tempt possible buyers by the very attractive design. Why don’t they design the gas cars to be very attractive? Its obvious they have designers that are capable. Very disappointing!

      @NewcarsTv  11 месяцев назад +1

      Your concerns about the shift to electric cars are valid, @cliffmorgan3071. It's true; the transition to EVs poses challenges, and people may have reservations about their reliability. Buick, like many other automakers, is adapting to the changing landscape and environmental concerns. While electric cars have their benefits, gas cars are still an essential part of the market. The push for attractive EV designs might indeed be a strategy to attract interest.
      Buick, like other manufacturers, aims to offer a diverse range of appealing cars. Designers often focus on making EVs attractive to help change perceptions. The good news is, Buick and other companies are still producing gas-powered cars alongside their EV offerings. This allows consumers to choose what best fits their needs. Your feedback is valuable, and it's an interesting conversation about the future of automotive design.
