Oh! I'm so happy that the 2006 Dream House made it to the top three! I had that one growing up! I was so happy! It was my first (and I think only) Barbie dollhouse! Also, I personally thought that its more realistic coloring was so awesome. I'm definitely going to have found one now!
First 💗, I personally love 2010's Barbie Dream house because it just screams her glamorous era! I also appreciate the cardboard 1950's dream house it just feels crafty and personal when you assemble the furnitures yourself
The Barbie dream cottage was meant to go behind the dreamhouse and by the dream pool. The cottage is small because it's basically a back house you change your bathing suit in and lounge. ✌️
I dreamed of a Barbie house. However, they mostly take up space. Yes they fold up, but then you can't keep dolls in it. So have it open with dolls, taking up space -- more than dolls. Or, close it up with no dolls, taking up space. Doesn't work for me.
Wow i love the natural colors of 2006 house. I wish they would do that more often than the garish tonal shades of pink/magenta all over the place. Also, I love the shape of the A-Frame house though, I think I love it cause it doesn't got for the castle aesthetic that Barbie sometimes goes for. Can we someday get a barbie fashion avenue pack ranking or Barbie furniture set rankings? Her furniture sets were god tear during the 90/00s.
I agree. I loved that dollhouse growing up. It felt more like a real house than a doll house! Also, it was very big! So you could add in more furniture to it.
My sister had the 1975 A Frame Dream House. Aside from the color scheme, the play capacity of this house was amazing! You could re-configure the three sections and add more floor space on the main level with two additional pieces of floor that came with it. I spent hours playing with my sister and all her Superstar Barbies in this house.
Had a bad day at work I needed this lol just wish it was longer! I could listen you talk Barbie’s for days!!! And I’m late 79s child so the original A frame was my dream house all though your right the pink is better lol
I 100% agree with you choice for number one! I had the 1979 version - my aunt found it and some various Barbie (and I think some generic “fashion doll”) furniture at a yard sale. It was 1994 so it was very old but before this, I was using an old bookshelf as my Barbie House. I think the 1979/1986 are the best because they provide more freedom in the decorating. Most of the ones since, have the cardboard walls with room specific backgrounds and often times attached furniture. As a child, I played “house” with my Barbies, so I needed rooms for all the kids! The 1979/86 versions allowed for a kitchen, living room and master bedroom on the main floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. I changed it up sometimes but usually Skipper and Stacie shared a room, Todd had a room, and Chelsea and Tommy shared a “nursery”. I know it’s meant to be Barbies house for just Barbie and sometimes her sisters or friends may sleep over - but I also think there should be some room for creativity and imagination.
I agree with your Top 3 tbh! Those houses were the level of "House that Everyone Dreaming of". Probably Barbie Mansion which was excluded in this list could be Universal level, but great ranking! Also, I wanna add Barbie 3 in 1/Pink and Pretty House in Top 4. The color and style was amazing, and you can resize the house.
I looked up the equivalent purchasing power of $10 in the 1960's to today - apparently it's around $90!? I can't imagine paying that for the first suitcase house 🙈
I love your list! 💖 I own the 2009 Dream house and it's great! You should do a list of the folding out Barbie houses, I bet the Totally Real House would be Top tier! 👌
I had the 2012 dream house and LOVED it. Everything pretty much lit up and made noise. the tv was cool cause I think it would move up and down on its own? but it defiantly could pop up and down. The only issue with the house was the elevator. Over time the friction of the string broke a piece off making it ugly, but usable. what a truly magical Christmas. also another about the 2012 house is the door, idk why but I loved the front door.
I have the 2006 Barbie Dreamhouse I acquired from an estate sale 😍 It doesn’t have any of the furniture, but it’s in pretty great condition! Love that my house was so high in your ranking!! ✨🏠💕✨
The 2000s Victorian dream house was my absolute favorite one growing up. I remember playing w it for HOURS on end at my grandma and grandpas I was so happy with it Edit: I remember having that 1986 house too! I think my grandpa got it for me from a yard sale haha, I loved the front door and kitchen area for that house sm
I grew up with the 1979 yellow & orange house, kept it and only got rid of it about 12 years ago, I donated it, no one was interested in buying it for $25 (excellent condition though you better believe I kept all the furniture, esp the pink toilet that flushes) at the time and I didn't love it & it was taking up a lot of space. Though I did see pictures of people who painted it and it looked really nice, still too bulky. The 3 sections are not attached at all, you could even put the center aside & make a smaller A house. I wish it was pink, pink was my fave color when I was young, but bleh the icky colors of the 70s. The pink version of it is so gorgeous. I like the 2015 one a lot, I like the dark pink. I like the 2009 & the 20013 is cute. I don't have any Barbie houses now, my style is the Monster High school playset.
omg i love the 2000s house!! mostly bc it was the one I had as a kid probably. that first floor ceiling was accessory to many ken beheadings thanks to my brother (why did their heads just pop on and off anyway??) and I liked that the doorbell wasn't electronic so it didn't stop working. i also love that the balcony railing comes up to barbie's like shins, that's not saving anyone
I had a folding Barbie home growing up and I still love it. I think it was from 1997 and it has three rooms. I like how it wasn’t to big and it has many cool built in stuff.
My fave Christmas gift as a girl was the Barbie Townhouse. 1978ish. But this summer I bought the 1986 A-frame! It is HUGE! I was so excited I couldn't sleep the night before picking it up. The couple I bought it from probably thought I was a lunatic the way I carried on. 😂 LOVE your channel!
I received the 2013 dreamhouse for Christmas in 2013 (safe to say that was a good Christmas lol) but my parents threw it away a few days ago. Even though I haven't used in years ( it was time for it to go anyways) I have such good memories attach to the dreamhouse
i owned two barbie houses. one is like a modern house that you can fold up and the other one is the 2002 talking townhouse. i remembered playing with this one and i bought one from amazon. my other dollhouse was a christmas gift from my grandparents.
I found the 2010 Malibu Dream Beach house in my first year of serious thrifting (2019). It was only $20 and still had some of the original furniture. I just acquired the Dream Cottage. I used to dislike it, thinking of it as a cheaper version of the A-frame house, but it grew on me and have it displayed next to my fold n fun house. It also had some of the original furniture and pieces of the workout center, and it was only $5.
I’ve tried to figure out what barbie house my childhood friend’s sister had, and I really think it’s the 1998 one! I agree that it’s suuuuper beautiful🌸 Personally I never had a dream house, but I did have the 12 dancing princesses castle which I loved💓
I must say 1986 Barbie Dream House is my favorite on that list! So nice! I don't have and dream houses but I do have other barbie houses. I love all the collapsible ones!
I have the 2011 and 2015 one, the 2011 was so much fun since it was so easy to play and the 2015 has 6 rooms so I gave the 3rd floor with the tv barbies room, 2nd floor with the actually bedroom as Stacy and skipper house and the dining room in the 1st floor as Kelly and Chelsea’s room. I still have every single barbie I owned (my family does not like chucking out toys) so yeah!
A video about the Kelly dolls would be really cute, I'd love to see one. I just looked them up, and they made soo many, one for every occasion, ethnicity, and there are even the miniatures of the barbie movie characters. They are so sweet and adorable.
As a child, I owned the 2009 dreamhouse; today I technically own the 2015 dreamhouse (it actually belongs to my younger sister but she hasn’t touched it in years at this point). Between the two I can’t help but prefer the 2009 one because of the rooftop jacuzzi-I know that the pool is meant to be the replacement for it in later releases, but there’s something about putting something on a rooftop that makes it more glamorous.
A-frame house in pink is my favorite, I really love the silhouette and I would live in that house too haha! I also love the victorian dream house and all the color variants of it.
I had the 1964 Dreamhouse. It was quite sturdy. We were taught to take care of our toys back then. That house traveled the world with me and lasted until the late 1990's when I gave it away. It was pre-eBay, sigh. The table and chairs in the 2006 Dreamhouse didn't come with it. It is a My House dining playset.
I got the massive 2013 dreamhouse at a deal somehow! it is so so lovely but right now it is just sitting in my garage collecting dust and i feel bad ;-; i agree it doesnt really have a house feel exactly so i would use it as a hotel or apartment building or something, but OMG. all the little stories and fun you can have in this house-- absolutely limitless!!
One Christmas my parents bought me the 2016 dreamhouse.A few days before Christmas they built it and tested it but the doors kept opening and closing and saying "Error" Lol.They mailed the house back to mattle and bought the 2015 house.😂
Dream House- worst to best #10 -1965 #9- 1964 #8- 1962 #7-2020 #6 -2016 - don't like the slide stairs #5 -2021 #4 2018 #3 -1979 #2 -1984 #1- 2015 (I absolutely love the garage) The 2011 Dream House I had purchased and was soo disappointed in the small rooms, so I gave it away to a friend's little girl. She loved it! I did not like the 2013 house at all with the elevator in the middle. It split the house up to me. The 2008 is cute, I agree. These are my ranking. My fav is the Barbie Dream House with the garage. I enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing it.
Great video again, my favourites are the 2006 (various I could just repaint one) 1995, 1998, 2008/2006 are must haves for me one day, I have the Barbie talking townhouse from 2002 and the Malibu Dreamhouse from 2014 I believe she was released before the 2016 Interactive Dreamhouse.
The 2009 dream house is the one I had, except I didn’t have it for very long cuz my twin brother who is nonverbal broke the elevator, I don’t think he wanted to break it, I’m pretty sure he just wanted to play with it and I’m guessing his favorite was the elevator but accidentally broke it, I just don’t believe it was on purpose, so my next Barbie dollhouse was those more sturdy ones which that lasted up until I was 13 which is when I took my Barbie stuff to goodwill except for some of my Barbie’s for my youngest sister and I think also some of the smaller playsets I think too, for the sturdier dollhouse I had stairs instead of an elevator so when my youngest sister got her first Barbie dollhouse with it being the Barbie dream house from 2021 and seeing that my brother messed up hers I took that personally and was somehow more mad about it than my youngest sister was, I was so mad that I was able to completely fix everything he broke to where everything was good as new and perfect
My top 3, In order are the 1979, 2015, 2006. With a honorable mention to the 2nd cardboard dreamhouse in 1964 since it is so rare and I love MCM stuff and that era of time .
The 1986 dream house is THE dream house! Legit biggest regret is that I didn’t keep it!!! I actually remember coming down to it on Christmas morning! My parents got ride if it when I was in middle school! Part of my chores growing up was to clean my dream house and put it back in order! I was a lucky girl lol ❤
Hehe, here are my favourites from this video (kind of an order from fav to least fav, but just random. Btw I update this list while watching the video): The 2015 one: 3:50 The 2009 one: 6:39 The 2013 one: 7:50 The 2006 one: 9:29 The 1998 one: 10:04 The 2012 one: 8:34 The 2021 one: 5:48 I only ever had a budget 2-story beach house or sth like that and selfmade cardboard houses that always broke.
The 2008 one was my dream house. I saw the 2006 one in probably 2007 and wanted it so desperately. My parents saved for a year to get it and got me the 2008 one. Nostalgia all the way
Love Barbie dreamhouses 😍! I too have never owned one but would like to someday but it has to be the right one like the one on your #2 spot or the other one similar to it 👍 My cousin had the tall pink dreamhouse in the early 80's & I'd spend the night just so I could play with it 😆 I have 2 Barbie size houses now the Hannah Montana Malibu & the Little Tikes ones 😃
the closest thing to an actual "dream house" we had growing up was the Barbie foldin' pretty house! it was spectacular but my favorite barbie house ever from my youth was the Barbie Beach Bungalow! that was far and above my favorite barbie house FULL STOP!
My favorite is still the Barbie and magic pagasus (or something like that) castle 🤣 not a dreamhouse, might be nostalgia talking, but i loved that thing, i really wanna get it again as an adult cuz ya know.... Inner child healing and stuff
We have very different opinions. My favorite is actually the original 1962 one lol, I love how subtle it is and the 60s furniture/look to it. The fact it is made of paper though is definately a minus though I do love the 2006 one also though. 1998 and 1964 I also like
Oh! I'm so happy that the 2006 Dream House made it to the top three! I had that one growing up! I was so happy! It was my first (and I think only) Barbie dollhouse! Also, I personally thought that its more realistic coloring was so awesome. I'm definitely going to have found one now!
I had your 1986 dream house when I was little and I loved it
First 💗, I personally love 2010's Barbie Dream house because it just screams her glamorous era! I also appreciate the cardboard 1950's dream house it just feels crafty and personal when you assemble the furnitures yourself

I’m obsessed with the 1979 A frame house omg

When you have a relative that has a play room. The early 1970's 3 story house can stay up until you're tired of playing Barbies.
Wow i love the natural colors of 2006 house. I wish they would do that more often than the garish tonal shades of pink/magenta all over the place. Can we someday get a barbie fashion avenue pack ranking or Barbie furniture set rankings? Her furniture sets were god tear during the 90/00s.
Ditto for Barbie furniture/playset video! However she has a lot and I’m sure it would take a lot to research
I agree. I loved that dollhouse growing up. It felt more like a real house than a doll house! Also, it was very big! So you could add in more furniture to it.

I have the 2006 Barbie Dreamhouse I acquired from an estate sale 😍
It doesn’t have any of the furniture, but it’s in pretty great condition!
Love that my house was so high in your ranking!!
✨🏠💕✨
The 1998 house is adorable indeed! It looks like an old english cottage in candy colors, so cute!
The 2000s Victorian dream house was my absolute favorite one growing up. I remember playing w it for HOURS on end at my grandma and grandpas I was so happy with it

79’ was so cute💕
Can you guys do a video of all of Barbie's campers evolution?
I had a folding Barbie home growing up and I still love it. I think it was from 1997 and it has three rooms. I like how it wasn’t to big and it has many cool built in stuff.

Agreed on the painfully hot pink 2015 house- however, I see so many cute re-paints of that house on Pinterest!
I love the cardboard houses! I wish there were more of them now. Also the 60s stuff has such a vibe to it.
I agree with the number one and two. I luv the 1979 one.
My favorite is the 1998 Dream Cottage! So many memories! 💕
I don't think I've owned any of the dream houses. But I did have the talking townhouse when I was 6. I loved that thing.
I received the 2013 dreamhouse for Christmas in 2013 (safe to say that was a good Christmas lol) but my parents threw it away a few days ago. Even though I haven't used in years ( it was time for it to go anyways) I have such good memories attach to the dreamhouse
6:40
I used to have this one!
Lowkey best Christmas ever.
My favorite is the 1998 Family Home. I used to play with it all the time with my best friend, who had it.
All houses are cute
Thank you for this video, the second purple house is very pretty, I love it
I always wanted a dream house but sadly never had one
me and my sister had the 2013 dreamhouse, we had so much fun with it back then
Your number 2 choice was the one and only true barbie dream house I had as s child. I loved it so much
i owned two barbie houses. one is like a modern house that you can fold up and the other one is the 2002 talking townhouse. i remembered playing with this one and i bought one from amazon. my other dollhouse was a christmas gift from my grandparents.

I owned the 1979 dream house as a child. Loved it.
I had the 2013 dreamhouse and I loved it, it was so amazing!!!!!
I’ve tried to figure out what barbie house my childhood friend’s sister had, and I really think it’s the 1998 one! I agree that it’s suuuuper beautiful🌸
Personally I never had a dream house, but I did have the 12 dancing princesses castle which I loved💓
I had the town house with the elevator. I loved it!!
I must say 1986 Barbie Dream House is my favorite on that list! So nice! I don't have and dream houses but I do have other barbie houses. I love all the collapsible ones!
I loved the video, and the last house which is your favorite is pretty. My daughter had the same only in the yellow and orange color.
I had the 2012 dream house and looking at the rest of the houses it is still my favorite 😍
I love your top choices! I would pick them too. I own a 2018 and 2021. But I wish I have more like your 3 top choices! They are the prettiest! 💕😍
A video about the Kelly dolls would be really cute, I'd love to see one. I just looked them up, and they made soo many, one for every occasion, ethnicity, and there are even the miniatures of the barbie movie characters. They are so sweet and adorable.
I was in a store the other day and saw a new Barbie house and thought of you.
I have the 2009 too! When my mom gave me it as a gift in Christmas it was a dream come true for me 😂🥲
I have the 2012 and it’s DESTROYED
I want the 2015 dollhouse just because it has a garage. I'm dying to have it!
A-frame house in pink is my favorite, I really love the silhouette and I would live in that house too haha! I also love the victorian dream house and all the color variants of it.
I never was into doll houses for me they just take up a lot of space and not just that it gets boring after a while
I love ur spicy vocabulary. Soooo amazing chat
I had the 1979 Barbie Dream House.
I love looking at all of these, and your commentary is always both informative and sassy :)
I love this! I had the Barbie Dream Hotel and loved it
2008 2011 2012 2013 omgggg I was obsessed with those houses when I was 10 but 2011 and 2013 are my absolute favessss
I always look at vintage barbie houses and cry. Sooo expensive i will never get them back. 😭
Please make a video of All barbie castles ^^!
I don't know if it was the lighting but I fell total and immediately in love with the 1998 dream house 🥺💛 like it has like this ethereal vibe...
I got the massive 2013 dreamhouse at a deal somehow! it is so so lovely but right now it is just sitting in my garage collecting dust and i feel bad ;-; i agree it doesnt really have a house feel exactly so i would use it as a hotel or apartment building or something, but OMG. all the little stories and fun you can have in this house-- absolutely limitless!!
owned the 1986 barbie dream house as a kid and im still mad that my mom sold it without asking me first. 😢
it was a really great house. ❤
I had the 1995 house! I vividly remember it!
Edit: no never mind it was the 1998 one
Loved the 1998 house! And the current Dreamhouse sent too bad either. LOVED this 😊
One Christmas my parents bought me the 2016 dreamhouse.A few days before Christmas they built it and tested it but the doors kept opening and closing and saying "Error" Lol.They mailed the house back to mattle and bought the 2015 house.😂
Definitely agree on your number 1 😻😻😻
Thank you for sharing it.
my favorite is the one from 2015, I think it's glamorous ❤
I have the 1986 Barbie Dreamhouse. It was my childhood barbie house and I can confirm; it's honestly the best.
Love it, God bless you for it 🙏✝️♥️🕊💖👱🏻✨️🫂🙏🐑🌻🌈🌟🙌✨️🫂🌼😊
I think I will get Barbie Malibu House or dream house
I had a Barbie mansion as a child and it was the best part of my childhood ever.
The 1984 cottage was meant to be an add on for the A line house.
The first one was a travel case. My sister had the hotel room, and the airplane.
Can you do a video on Disney Princess doll castle sets? 💜💜💜
I agree with the line up of houses. Except for the dark purple one. That can go to the bottom of all lists.
Hehe, here are my favourites from this video (kind of an order from fav to least fav, but just random. Btw I update this list while watching the video):
The 2015 one: 3:50
The 2009 one: 6:39
The 2013 one: 7:50
The 2006 one: 9:29
The 1998 one: 10:04
The 2012 one: 8:34
The 2021 one: 5:48
I only ever had a budget 2-story beach house or sth like that and selfmade cardboard houses that always broke.
Joey you should rank all the Barbie Princesses
I had the folding one from 1996 and absolutely loved it! Maybe i'm blind but i didn't see it in the video 😅
I had the 1962 barbie dream house.
the closest thing to an actual "dream house" we had growing up was the Barbie foldin' pretty house! it was spectacular but my favorite barbie house ever from my youth was the Barbie Beach Bungalow! that was far and above my favorite barbie house FULL STOP!
My favorite is still the Barbie and magic pagasus (or something like that) castle 🤣 not a dreamhouse, might be nostalgia talking, but i loved that thing, i really wanna get it again as an adult cuz ya know.... Inner child healing and stuff
0:50 you and me both. But it’s very hard to find online and the best bet would be asking Mattel for a re-release.
Pink n Pretty House - 1995. La Casa Villa Terrasse - 1989. Magical Mansion - 1990. The most classic houses
I owned the 1998 one! I loved it so much
you didn't add the link in the description
We have very different opinions. My favorite is actually the original 1962 one lol, I love how subtle it is and the 60s furniture/look to it.
The fact it is made of paper though is definately a minus though
I do love the 2006 one also though. 1998 and 1964 I also like
Every beach Barbie doll
Very nice video love the houses love Barbie nice video to thumbs-up good video 👍👍🎉💗💯
Did you know that I had the 2015 dream house but as I started to grow up I didn't need it any more 😅😅❤ and I love your video keep it up ❤❤❤🎉😊😊
The house of 2013 drove me crazy, when the ad was on TV it was a real torment 😅
