I laughed unnecessarily hard at the “he frets a lot” joke.
"Too much treble" is what got me.
I laughed so hard I sent it to my ex
The hand jumper did it for me 😂
Same
It's legit funny tho
impressive eyebrow control!
Eyebrow control? That "mover" part was even more impressive, try to play guitar and wobble around at the same time. I tried it and it is impossible for me :D
@@LadyMngwa I do it by accident, like, when I see it I'm already doing it hahaha (sorry my rust english, i'm learning it alone, greetings from Brazil)
@@ogamerindie954 Yeah, I would not call it a voluntary motion.
Seu inglês é ótimo!
google tells me my portuguese is impeccable :P
Man, you killed me 😂
I am a classical guitarist and I am:
The mover
The dramatic face dude
The ritual guy
The dude who forgets to tune down the e-string
The dude who looks up while playing
The memory lapse of course
The dude who really needs a date
The darth vader breather
cold hands
and absolutely (Not) the very dedicated student ahah
now that you recognize your problems, maybe you can work on them. It's best to make a list of actionable goals. Put into words why the mover; dramatic face dude; ritual guy and the dude who looks up while playing, are top-tier cringe and basically lies.
@@grarglejobber7941 not really mate, you're just really being passionate about what you like and honestly it doesn't seem cringe at all, the only things i dislike are those who genuinely will interrupt a normal playing and become kinda weird, like the Darth Vader lmao

Aren't we all the memory lapse guy? Also, hope the angry guitar grandpa is alive and well and still practicing!
I am now the memory lapse guy, but was not at age 20.
Yes
Oh yes.
Unfortunately that grandpa is practicing on another realm

To hit those harmonics so well at 0:41 whilst moving around like that is class 😂😂
@@LisztGOAT gymnopedie no 1 guitar
I spat out my drink when you did the guy playing Capricio Arabe having forgotten about the drop-D tuning - well done, sir. Similarly for the guy who plays Bach like it's Liszt.
The memory lapse guy on the other hand was too traumatic to watch.
Just subscribed, super-accomplished guitar playing plus excellent jokes, I'm totally here for this.
Dude, you're just something else. I would totally believe the "impressive bio".
And that guitar sounds heavenly.
He IS something else.
You forgot:
- the scales-shitter dude
- the overly serious dude
- the head nodding in jazz dude
- the grining dude
- the uninterested/bored dude
- the "I can do this all day" dude
- the "this is my neo-flamenco prog interpretation of Vivaldi" dude
- the "but I asked my parents for an eletric guitar 😓" dude
The emotional blues dude
The whiplash nightmare metal head
The I just wanna jam guy
The improv god
The guy who has a job aka/ didn't have the time to practice but has decent gear and more
I'm the overly serious dude 😆
Vot izzat, the scale-exXxcreting dude? I'm very afraid, could it be me? Mired in practice of scales?😲🤔😶🤫😟
The dude who thinks his singing is good, sings along, and wrecks your eardrums
Would be great to have a second part!

I love listening to your amazing skills as a guitarist and I also enjoy your great sense of humour. THank you.
The horrible tone guy sounds exactly like i play...and my teacher says i sound good...
You just need to become the frantic nail file guy.
Sameee
You can argue a whole lot about tone, it's probably amongst the most subjective topics. If it's your only concern, congrats, you are quite the able guitar player :)
@@user-bs4qu7tb2g thank you! :)

Dude, you are not only an amazing guitarist but an excellent actor!
I discovered you just a few days ago and meanwhile I'm a huge fan of your videos.
You're so funny!
Your skills are beyond any discussion. But your humour is equal. Thanks a lot and keep it up! Cheers from Berlin
7:27 the fact that i dont remember where i saw this and you put it there...
no more words...
Damnn Ur a living legend my guy
Can you list the pieces that you played? Some of the I like it
Utterly superb! We need more comedy in the classical guitar world and you, Sir, are a very fine player.
Thanks so much for sharing this insight into your life, it was pure joy to share a moment of your life.
the memory guy gets it right in the end, so proud of him
Lucas you just made my day! The best guitarist and person! Continue like that
brilliant, I loved every piece!
More of this please. Quite entertaining!
the “big mac and fries please” was perfectly executed😂😂😂
We NEED a full version of Libertango. PLEASE DUDE!
I need it too!!!!
My friend, please post videos every once in a while of you playing a whole song! I really like your whole songs! Classical too!
I'm the dude who really needs a date
I’ve not studied guitar - but after watching this channel for 3 years it feels like I’ve been at a conservatory for 6 years. Classical and jazz guitar. And tried to pay the tutions via gigs and teaching by the side. And later to make a living as a pro. We’ve seen fellow conservatory students, guitar pupils and party guests all through Lucas eyes. Even his accordion pal.
Do you realise how hilarious this is? Absolutely cracked me up. Love your videos and your playing.
That vgm arranger interpretation was absolutly amazing, specially when he play mario, awesome
this is sooo good! thanks for the grand humor
Legend has it that he's still warming up to this day
They're all great, dude! The guy who plays Bach like Chopin: that might be my favorite. Memory lapse guy: it's like you've actually seen me play.
Excellent on so many levels.
I needed this … very entertaining!!
Hello and thank you for another great video!
Lucas, may I ask you to show the full version of your Song of Storms arrangement? It's beautiful and I can't help but want to play it! Other RUclipsrs play it differently, your variant is just the best for me
Hey Lucas, you’re a great guy and a terrific musician. You make me smile😀😀😀
Not really a classical musician, but I’m clearly the guy who:
- Looks up while playing
- Is a manic nail-filer
- Is sometimes a hand-jumper
- Really needs a date
- Plays Bach like Chopin
Gross. That's gross. You need to recognize that all of those are basically lies and stop doing them.
@@grarglejobber7941 Maybe... but I still feel happy the way I am.
Just found your channel! I laughed so much! Whenever I try to play nowadays I’m the one staring at the ceiling while trying to remember anything I used to play 25 years ago.
You amazed me when you played flamenco 6:19 in addition to your classical playing skills as usual...
That's awesome 😍🥰❤️
I started laughing so so hard before even beginning to watch the video. I love what you do, you are a great musician and hilarious too. Thank you
Brilliant, something for everyone. I spotted myself more than once!
Hi Lucas, beside incredible guitar skills, you have also great actor's skills! I'm really impressed!
I must be related to the Memory Lapse guy. Oh, and I never knew mustaches can change music so much.
Lucas, I like your sense of humour; You seem to be a humble and honest guy, not spoilt by greed (for money). Thanks for your excellent work - Greetings and all the best from Leipzig!
5:20 that laugh tho........🤣🤣
Loved it bro. I play for 30 years and i've seen all those. and i'm probably a mix of all too.
Thank you very much! I laughed to tears and still can't stop laughing. So many memories of the years spent at the Conservatory... Thanks once again.
As a bass player, I can confirm "Why don't bass players date guitarists" pun.
Thank You!
very enjoyable to watch
The world is truly your oyster Lucas. Victor Borge showed that musical comedy can be a rewarding career, and your "serious" guitar skills are formidable. Then there's the exquisite Elvis impersonation on another video...
You forgot the guy who plays both beautifully and expressively yet sits so still and expressionless he might as well be doing finger exercises.
You're such a mood dude 😂, made my day... 👏👏
Excellent !😂 Le parleur sans fin m'a fait trop rire !
Man I loved those harmonics on gymnopedie..youre awesome dude
Also I confess myself to be a mover

The amount of songs you learn (or remember I guess) for these videos is absolutely absurd. I can store one complicated song in my head at a time, you played 25 crazy arrangements for a single video.
this video was really funny but it also helped me with my own insecurities about guitar, since you showed the things i thought i needed to have as tropes of single guitarests, and that everyone has their own style of playing. thank you!
lamenablemente tengo la mezcla de varios, maravilloso video!

He is a really good clown and mimic and does play quite well (I heard David Russell when he was starting to tour and Barrueco with an orchestra once).
That was too funny Lucas a good laugh!!🙏🏻

Forgetting to tune down to Drop D: That's a classic... Never happened to me though. I am the one who forgets to tune back to E afterwards and realizes after starting the next piece... O.O

Very funny. Quite a sense of humor!
I couldn't look at the dramatic face, it was simultaneously too hilarious and too relatable.
Eu adoro te ouvir tocar, lindo mesmo
4:22 Hey, I play this piece myself. Good feeling to hear a piece I'm able to play in a Lucas Brar video...
It's Valse Venezolano No. 2 btw. The No. 3 is a bit harder but also achievable, I haven't played No. 1, so I cannot tell about this one.
I have also trained Vals Venezolano No. 2 the past year and i absolutely love the piece. it’s not ready yet but it will be ready in christmas when i have concert. How is your progress? I play also the No. 3, and yes it is harder but i promise it’s whort learning, especially the C part is very beautiful.
@@kontti1472 I'm playing both of them now and then, but just for fun. Music is my hobby and with the guitar I don't really play in public..
But yes: the C part of No. 3 is wonderful, when the piece suddenly turns into major.
Dude why are your videos so funny 😂
hilarious as always! 5:00 and that was from a deer hunter wow
