The "lets-only-play-wonderwall-dude" actually was my first TEACHER. God, 4 months into playing and still just strumming along chords. I guess I would still strum basic zombie chords after 3 years.
@@spreadwuvokay Knowing your open chords and being able to change them with confidence is crucial, I agree to that! But it took me the first 2 months of self teaching to achieve that, before I took lessons. Sure, I was not 100% there, not playing and changing them with confidence, and strangely struggling with the D minor chord, but there was no point in doing one open chord song after the other. The confidence came with time (as did bar chords). My second teacher taught me songs that needed techniques I find more important to learn early on (at least on the electric), like palm muting, alternate picking, string skipping. That was in the first couple of months (I am a late learner, my free time for practicing is limited). No open chords only songs because I could show him these in the first lesson. I guess the first teacher doesn't even know about the stuff I got taught in the 2nd and 3rd year, like the CAGED system or 3NPS scales. I am in my 4th year now, and I am quite sure I would have stopped playing after a year or so with the first teacher. I think a good teacher should always teach you something you have to struggle with, but is not out of your reach. This struggling kind of frustrated me at times, but I have been open about that with my teacher, so he could always come up with something that could build confidence before revisiting what I was struggling with. 1:38 I LOVE how literally nobody realised, that he said "I'l go home" with the same accent and in the same context as "alcohol". It also can be my Imagination, I'm not judging anybody ;)
"Maybe you should try to play bass, you just slapp the strings"
Davie504: WHAT, OMG, NOT EPICO, Lucas Brar I challenge YOU to a bass vs guitar battle. Ha Guitar? More like 6 strings bass, CHECKMATE!
F*ck, I'm waiting for it.
Once you have heard D504 for a while, the capitalized words come to you like his voice
@Davie504 a challenger has risen

"What if I become like you?"
Damn....... 😭😭😭
lmao if they cant clap a basic rhythm they're better off being a lead guitarist than bassist
Lol, you're right
hehe hoohoo instrument bad instrument good
Yeah I play bass you need rhythm more than you would lead guitar
@@eleamntsofzodiac9788 I play lead guitar and the hell you do. Not If your playing stevie ray or any blues
@@eleamntsofzodiac9788 people have seen great results with their lead playing when they've improved their rhythm. also shredders, if they can't do it on the beat (16th notes) then it definitely is sloppy when it's fast paced as well
2:48 its first classical piece that i tried to learn when i started (Malaguena)
I've caught a flashback when recognized it! :D
Did you have to go to the bathroom Xd
I found the most complete musician of all youtube my god. I have not stopped watching your videos. Aside from being among the best I've ever seen, his acting skills are absurdly good. Did you take acting classes? It is surprising how many characters you can do so brilliantly, and it shows that you just play and have fun. Best youtuber 2021, by far.
I've met the Russian genius. His name is Pablo and he's not Russian.
My name is Ivan. И я Русский. I have a pet, it is bear. Путин

Oh God, my stomach is hurting from laughter, this is one of the best videos ever on YT!!
I dare you to play: Moonlight Sonata with all the arrangements.
@1:18 sounded a really great tune like a song.
“The russian genius” 😂😂
This video brings back memories of when I was teaching guitar classes of 30-35.... all of those personalities and more were present. A lot of hyperactive and aggressive kids at first... until I teach them arpeggios and somehow they become hypnotized by it and soften and mellow down. Haha! Loved teaching guitar though! I wish I could have my 30-35 student guitar class back... good times.😔
3:41 ; When he said it , davie504 got destroyed !
He's right btw
not epic
Have you seen twoset?
Ha ha true!

1:10 to 1:20 when you let your 5 year old cousin play your guitar:
'But Teacher!'
Teacher: Yes for a thousand times
Student: What is time?
Extreme awkward silence.....
Teachers ears to brain : Did you just hear what i heard?
Teacher: Am i a joke to you?

Lol "The Student Without a Good Teacher" was me, and that was exactly how I first played. I wanted to make a sound that was somewhat pleasing and my fingers were weak and uncontrolled, so I turned it on the side, used my left thumb and just played the E and A string up and down the fret board.
how can this video sum up my 7 years of taking guitar lessons? even the shirt and the freaking HAT
“What is time?” The plot thickens
Za Warudo!!!!!!
i still ask myself that question and cannot answer it
"I think Bass is a better instrument for you than guitar, you just slap the strings." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
