Wanna know a fun build? -grub song -weaver song (or whatever summons weaverlings) -spell twister -shaman stone -sprint master You get soul from the weaverlings, and then you can ddark for 0 to 1/2 a normal charge

I used to have trouble with wk, and then I tried to speedrun, by the time I was able to beat the game in an hour and a half the fight was easy, so I guess just practice with really high stakes
Descending dark is stronger than desolate dive. However, I don't mind using desolate dive alone even though it deals less damage and the reason being is that it's the only non-shadow ability that gives you invulnerability frames.
Using ddark is so easy that you didn't even have to go over to the statue, you just woke up by it, just like when some people die to the boss which of course would never be you.

that fight is like the more difficult version of the mantis lords, i just love the fights were you fight against multiple oponents and also the fights were the oponent inst some giant background monster instead being something with similar atacks to the player, like a duel 2v1 i died alot in my first try and now i can do it better than most other bosses, it was a joy to master this one

There is another way if you have pure nail (nail upgrade 4) and also have shade cloak, for charms go quick slash, unbreakable/fragile strenght and steady body. 1. spam attacks 2. dash through them when you see they/he attack you 3. heal if low 4. ez win In base game they have 240 hp each, so 8 hits and they are dead, also you can count attacks and spam fireball if you are not fast enough to kill each before the other spawn.

If i stand very close to them all the time, they are more likely to try nail me instead of rolling over me, but of course, 2 of those guys at the same time kinda makes things... chaotic. @@funnyarc im not fighting i was merely joking lol. spells way outclass nail in the early game, there isnt even room for argument. in late game though, you're more then right. nail does way more dps and is just way more effective in general. spells become more of a side thing used only in specific niche circumstances

I'd say for a first play through try to get shadow dash first, not that you necessarily know what that is yet, but it helps a lot and makes the fight easier and more fun

if you are doing radiant bosses you can overcharm with no downside
