Thanks for the vid’s and info that you provided. Just to let you know I pulled the plug (or should I say pulled oit the credit card lol) and bought the T1000! Can’t wait
Wow $60 for the Tyres!, thats cheap, $169NZ here in New Zealand imported from Australia supplier+freight, Amazon have them for $60 US but freight need to be added too. Thinking of converting my T1000 after skidding in mud on the standard tyres and falling off. Luckily no injuries to me or the bike. 😌

Do you have to place the brake cables for new handlebar ? Is it possible/easy to replace with twist throttle instead thumb ?
Twist throttle not sure? Probably a big hassle to do that, the battery is easily available, its a super common battery alot of ebikes use. Leon cycle sells the batteries. The brake cables and everything is easy to swap over tot he new handle bar, just a couple of screws....
Thanks for the vids. Just got two this week (one is my wife's). So far so good. I can't stop laughing over the horn. Love to see how that new display will work.

Hi Johnathon. I live in Canada. I am an older rider at 70 years old. I was wondering if you could advise me on adjusting the forks to make my ride a little softer. I just got a seat post suspension tube from Amazon. Put it on and really don't see any real advantage to it as of yet. These bikes are a hard tail frame I believe. I am just into riding on the street and probably won't be trail riding. Any answers on these questions I would really appreciate. Thanks. Dale from Ontario.
Kenda Kresade, althought next time i will be putting on surlybikes.com/parts/nate, they are 3.8 not 4.0. I think 3.8 would be better to help with the fit. 26x4.00 is kinda snug
Hey Johnathon I know you wanted a more of a mountain bike, did the nubby tires rub the fenders or other parts? Also did you ever installed the 3.8” wide tires if so how’s the fit on the wheels? Thanks
Taking a bit of weight off will probably help. Wider bars = need for bark busters? Love mine but kept it stock. I'm tall, old and slower. Good video. I want the new controller too but hesitate on the cost.
@@victoria653 That's a pain. Did you ever look into the Magnum Peak's display? It too is a Das-Kit C7? It can be bought (unrestricted) in Toronto. I'm thinking of going that way. Best of luck!

Johnathon, I bought one for my wife, I'm short so I went Voltbike for my own... but how do you tell what gear you are in on the T1000 (aside from looking at the sprokets? It's a bit of a mystery to me as the manual is vague, do you have any insight on it?? Appreciated and ride on my friend!
Just bought one and appreciate you posting this video. The mods look great. I’m interested in getting the off road tires but keeping the upright feel the handle bars offer. Question: Did you change the tires yourself and if so, was it difficult?
Bought the T720 for my wife, 5'2" its just a bit to tall in seat. I believe its 34.5 from ground to seat, its manageable but I think we will get her the F720 instead which has a bigger throat area for getting on and is 1.5" lower. Other than that its a blast to ride, will be my ride now.
Can we see the end product T1000 2024 update?
Great video. I've had mine for a week & I love it.
We are tossing up between the T720 and T1000! The 1000 is about $400 more expensive here in Australia. Is the 1000 worth the extra?? Cheers
From my experience, unless you need a folding bike, i would not buy one! The t100 is worth the money in my opinion!

Where do you order the fenders for the mountain tires
I just one on Facebook marketplace,he’s selling it for $1000 but the motor is not working.
I think it is still a good price.
I accidently dropped my E-bike and broke the throttle, how can I get this fixed?
look your bike model up with the part you need and order it on google. Should be a easy install.

Thanks for the vid. How do these fatter tires compare to the original ones when going on the road ?
They ride nice, and make the bike feel big
Thanks for sharing. what is the diameter of your handlebars and where did you get them. Would they fit on the ET cycle F1000?
Got the handlebars at the recyclists in Victoria. Not sure if they would fit but most likly!

Tires do not rub but they are tight for sure, i would be cautious with sizes for this particular bike. The tires i used at 4"
