I play this fingerstyle. Because I never learned to play with a pick and I find that very difficult. Sounds just as good with finger.

I love your videos but I have a hard time understanding the strumming patterns. For some reason it is hard for me to figure out where you are playing eighth notes and sixteenth notes. How should I be reading the patterns to be able to keep time.
Hi David - yeah, its kind of challenging with tabs as there is no nomenclature for rhythm and timing. Many of the patterns like dduudu and duduudu, the really common ones are 8th notes patterns. But at first try not feel out the rhythm and not take as much time pulling it apart - that can come with time once you get in the groove and feel the rhythms and play them by ear. Just a thought. Implying, not inferring! Are you giving the impression of (a chord), or picking up on the impression that someone else is implying a chord?
Chord fragments don't exactly negate the whole chord. So... not really behind the use of imply here either, but I get why you did.

Then by embellishing that Em chord kind of words like the vocal melody. Just trying to get the song full sounding and capture the feel of the original. Just my thoughts. Love this song.
