I had to wait to watch this because I knew I’d cry. I can’t help myself, when Ashleigh cries, well then I do too. I just understand the feeling of being overwhelmed with gratefulness or excitement about something that means so much to your heart. I know if I got to go behind the scenes at Disneyland and see Walt’s apartment and maybe the inner workings of The Haunted Mansion… tears would flow… for me those things are all tied to my childhood and to dreams. I absolutely love that you let yourself have the feels and take in every moment. I remember when you first posted about your trip and I just could not be happier that you had this experience. You bring us all so much joy, it was nice to see you get some back 🧡🖤🧡

Great video Ashleigh! I especially liked the "Awkward Ashleigh Unhinged" crying with overwhelmed joy parts. 😀 But I know how you feel. They say don't meet or learn about your heroes because you'll only be disappointed, but I think Dolly's the exception to that in many ways. God bless her.
I don't like country music really. Never have. But I've spent most of my 55 years in East Tennessee within an hour's drive from Dollywood and I understand 100% why Dolly is all but worshiped in our neck of the woods, and I fully support that. She's a hero to so many people and to me too.
When I was a kid that amusement park was called Silver Dollar City and was much smaller, though it still had the train and Blazing Fury (and my old favorite Flooded Mine which may or may not have been redone and expanded as Mystery Mine, I dunno) back in those days, but you always knew exactly what you'd be getting at Silver Dollar City. Then Dolly bought it as it was slowly dying and turned it into what it is today.
I don't go very often, but every time I go I see something new. New craftspeople, new attractions in the theaters, even new rides and sections. One can spend a three day weekend open to close at Dollywood and not see everything. Such an amazing place!

I have some friends that have spent the last several summers performing in the park at the Chapel. THE HALL SISTERS. I met them when they were Teens and I was a stage tech for showcase they were performing.
Dolly is truly one of the shining souls of this world and watching you get emotional over her made me get emotional over her. You are my favorite movie reactor because you react so fully and honestly to everything, it's a joy to see. And you're coming to Oregon! It's my home state and I'm so proud of it. Wherever you go, you're guaranteed some amazingly beautiful scenery and wonderful people. Can't wait to see that video!

Dollywood secret: if you stand in the right spot you can ride the front of the coal car (theres a bench seat there) and get a close front row seat watching the steam train engineer drive the train and the fireman shovel coal into the boilers firebox. Man when he opened up that fire box i got a instant shake and bake tan! Like looking thru the gates of hell, man that blast of scorching heat was burned into my memory! I just happened by shear chance to stop and stand in the right spot to find out you can get a ride on that coal car.
i must have been on that train a dozen times and didn't know that. neat

She can spend her money how she wants but some could see announcing the cost (especially in the title) as a bit of a flex and a waste of money during such difficult times that could make people see her as irresponsible or less relatable. Personally, I don't care, I'm not her daddy. I will say that I think it's massively overpriced but it was clearly worth it to her, so, whatever, not my money.

I've never been anywhere near that happy about anything in my entire life and can only imagine what it would feel like. She got to experience extreme joy and didn't hurt anyone to get it, so it's pretty hard to be upset about that.
