I’m so happy to got to see Red Rocks! My husband and I were married there at the very top of the venue v-day mass wedding hosted by a Radio DJ in 2011. We’ve also stayed at the Stanley, I love it there- the view itself is incredible.

I count my lucky stars that I get to wake up every day in such a beautiful place! So glad you got the chance to come and check out colorful Colorado 🏞

I have driven from Texas to Denver twice to see shows at Red Rocks. Amazing venue. Brit Floyd was the band both times. Highly recommended. Happy Anniversary!!

As for someone who was born in Colorado, I happy that you and Blake enjoyed Denver, and can't wait until your Stanley Hotel video. I have to say Blake did a good job driving up TrailRidge Road for the first time, I have seen people on 10-speed bike, bike up that road. There always a couple thing people visiting Colorado, Drink water, bring chapstick, sunglasses, and visiting the mountains a coat, because you know when the weather will change. I have been in the mountains and it actually snow in July, and if you two go back go to Colorado Springs and visit Garden of God. A fun fact Colorado get more sunshine then Florida every year.

Happy Anniversary!! So glad you had such a great time! If you and hubben love exploring old houses, and you're ever in the Canandaigua, NY area, you need to go to the Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens. It's a BEAUTIFUL, Victorian mansion built in the late 1800's. You'd love it! The town is also gorgeous and the lake is beautiful!

Went to Epcot (and WD World) for the first time in Feb of 2021. We chose that time because they had "reduced capacity" rules. Lines at amusement parks are _NUTS,_ as you all know, so I thought their reduced capacity rules (apparently 1/3 the amount of people normally at the parks) would be a dream! . . . If that was 1/3 of the normal amount of people, I don't want to see it at full capacity, lol. Wow. Shockingly full, hours in line, crowds packed in like sardines. Been to Disneyland only 3 times. Still, I'd love to live "across the street" and go every day!

For anyone going to Denver and surrounds, go to any athletic store and pickup a little can of O2. This will help you a lot. It probably won't save your life, but it will counteract shortness of breath, headaches and irritability. In general it can make your high altitude vacation a lot more enjoyable. I live here and use it when I'm going really high, like around the Great Sand Dunes National Monument which is at about 9500 ft near Crestone. If you're going to this area I highly recommend it. You can come to Las Vegas to see the Titanic exhibit! There's a huge piece of the hull that's incredible to see up close!!!

I've driven by Molly Brown's house, have never entered, plus haven't been to Meow Wolf (yet.) Did you go through the museum at Red Rocks? Also, if you entered from the other side of Red Rocks, there's a parking lot closer to the top. Ya, y'all need to come back next year for a concert, but there are movies shown there, as well as drum circles. Gotta say, if there's no traffic jam, you were 20 minutes from our house, either from Denver, or Red Rocks. SO CLOSE! Glad y'all were enjoying yourselves. When my mum would visit, she wouldn't get winded, and in fact felt better. The last time she was here was 2009. We kept talking about her returning, and the two of us doing a road trip up to Yellowstone, but the pandemic and Alzheimer's got in the way. She's now 90.

When I was younger we used to have our friends from out of state come visit us in Colorado we would take them down to the stage of red rocks and be like okay now we got to climb up out of this. We're all acclimated and stuff and we're just kind of shrugging while they gasp for breath.

22:54 - Interestingly, the rocks that make up Red Rocks are the eroded remains of a very old mountain range that existed before the Rockies, which are called the Ancestral Rockies. Over millions of years, the Ancestral Rockies eroded down flat to make that layer, and then were covered by a sea during the age of dinosaurs (a sea known as the Western Interior Seaway). Then the sea went away and the modern Rockies pushed up. They pushed the overlying Red Rocks up and out of the way and tilted them. This is why they sit at such an angle -- which happened to be perfect for an amphitheater.

I think I have to hand in my British citizenship, I hate Soreen loaves, chocolate oranges, fruit pastilles, jelly babies, Parma violets and Black Jacks 😂 Cadburys chocolate is the best chocolate ever. I LOVED all the treats I got to try in the US except for Hersheys chocolate, I couldn’t understand how you guys love chocolate that literally has a vomity aftertaste 😅 I think it’s because I’ve been spoilt growing up with Cadburys. If you ever visit the UK, I’d recommend a Cadburys Wholenut bar, it’s delicious chocolate with whole roasted hazelnuts inside. God tier chocolate bar, my friends ❤
