Hi , thank you for your video, but a correction on your information, the logo ventilation ( the one you said it’s tricky ) is the same pattern, forward is open , meaning if you close it , it will vent air.
Is there some kind of coating on the interior PinLock plastic that you can’t or shouldn’t use gentle all-natural glass cleaner with a microfiber cloth? Thanks
Its a silicone coating that wants to keep particles of water not adhere. The only way to clean it is to remove it and use concentrated Fairy (YES in some countries), carefully and softly work it over the surface, on both sides. The pour lukewarm water and rinse it clean, and allow it to air dry. Only touch the edges. The moment you put any cloth or touch it with your fingers, it’s back to start again and redo it. That’s if you want it perfect. I hope it helps.
Thanks a lot, clear explanation.I brock the metal pin when i was trying to insert the pinlock on the helmet visor. Not exactely brock but pull off,and now i don‘t know how to do.Can you help please ? Thanks a lot.
Arai is usually very reliable with these things, and the retail shop should handle this for you. Based on the video, you’ve done everything correctly, so I’d recommend asking for a warranty replacement if you return the broken visor. If they don’t mount the Pinlock for you, they should consider this as part of their service, since proper installation does require some skill. Best of luck, and let us know if they don’t provide a replacement.
I live in Japan, arai will only sell the round shape that doesn’t fit me. The oval shape is made here too but they just won’t sell it to me. I’d have to import it….
Great walk through, broski! I much prefer tutorials over reading a book, and your efforts are extremely appreciated!!
I appreciate that!
Very well explained video. Honest and clear story. You know so much more than the average enduser. Well done.❤

I was close to buy from Japan but ended up buying from EU. However, I was told that it’s only the lining that differs. Maybe wrong ?
@@BenNorway that's what arai told me. But it does affect the fit. They won't sell me the lining here
thanks 👍
