Had trouble mounting the pavement today but I was determined not to let that best me. Tomorrow I'll attempt a 6 point turn but I always end up pointing the wrong way. Don't want to look daft so will ride 10 miles out of my way so I don't have to lose face.
We've fabulous off road tracks in England, mostly over neighborhood lawns. Who cares! Grass grows back eventually and 10 months inside shows you just how fast grass recovers.
Not jealous at all of your adventures and in awe of your skills. If you ever need a 72 year old to keep you on your toes just let me know. Wild camping is my thing. If you rub your knees together fast enough you can ignite kindling. Just one of my tips. If you drink 2 litres of whisky per night you can't give a bollocks, so all's well. Keep posting and I'll keep learning and dreaming.
    Lots of love and admiration.

Mate - that country and your footage of it really stirs me. My early years were in Papunya (just East of Kintore) and there's a big piece of me still out there. Takes me back to being a little tacker helping my mechanic dad fix things, exploring the amazing countryside and living in simpler times. We lost the old man last year and he would have absolutely loved watching this, being an off-roader right up until he died. Makes me want to trade my Ninja 1000 for a GS and head off. Thanks for the nostalgia, the amazing footage and the inspiration. Cheers from Sydney - Dave

The touring on the island of Hokkaido is fantastic. The roads are well-kept and the campgrounds are well maintained. There are many campgrounds that are free but also some other high-end places. There are a lot of places to stay for whatever type of lodging you prefer, tents, cottages, or inns. There are hot springs spread throughout the island so it is easy to keep clean and hygienic. The scenery is very dynamic and diverse whether on the coasts or inland. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. There are a lot of roadside stations(Michi no Eki, local farmers sell their goods) spread over the island where you can get fresh produce on a daily basis. Of course, convenience stores and gas stations are readily accessible. The wildlife is abundant especially as you move to the more rural areas. The only thing a biker must be concerned with is the deer just before dark as they wander onto the roads. The people are welcoming and nice and it is super safe. It is a biker's paradise.

We have lots of Bob and Marge's here on the East coast of Canada. My riding buddies and I have adopted that term now and get a massive chuckle out of using it on rides/trips.

The type of trip I can only dream of ever doing. I live vicariously through your adventures Adam. That bike has made you more famous than you already were, and the fact it’s not something you’ve just wheeled off the showroom floor and have thrown the parts catalogue at is the real adventure. Safe travels 🤙 I’m waiting impatiently for the next video!!!

Thanks to you, I started traveling a lot more. Pretty much every spare moment. We used to go year round even in the winter but now I plan when I work instead of cigarettes at least the places I want to go and the rest is random. Your videos are great!!!
