Being the daughter of a 'shade tree mechanic', I'm looking forward to seeing you progress with this project. My brother and I were raised working on vehicles with our father, from our teens on we spent many a day together restoring old cars we'd pulled out of fields and out of moldy old barns and garages. Our crowning achievements were a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS and a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7. His favorite was a 1957 International Harvester S-110 pickup truck which was the only one he kept, mine was the Chevelle. The Cougar went on, after we sold it, to become a show car since it was all original. Miss those days and I'll enjoy watching you bring back the Range Rover!
It should be a hell of a journey to bring this lovely back to her glory. Looking forward to watching it unfold. Even as a 60yr old woman, I would still rather work on my truck then wash dishes. 🧘🏻🙏🌎☮️ daily ✌🏻
This will be fun Phil - can’t wait to see what you can do with it. It’s been sitting for so long. Something tells me Gwen would be glad to see it out of the garage 😂
I'm not a car person but it'll be fun to watch Phil do a Mr. Scott every week, playing up how bad it is so he looks that much better when it's fixed. 😜😜😜
Look forward to supporting your new channel. Good luck with the renovation. 70 years old and not a car nut but then i wasnt a chateau or convent nut either. ❤x
I’m a Jeep guy but these classic Range Rovers and Land Rover Defenders are amazingly unique vehicles. 🚗 I am really looking forward to seeing this one get a breath of new life! Great job Phil!
Reminds me of before we had m.o.t's and motorways when parts of a car were tied up with string and you didn't have motorway police lurking behind hedges. Happy days.
Ready. Bring it on!! Time to work on it, will be the hardest thing to find. You are a busy man, but this I imagine, will be fun for you. A project to decompress. Enjoy it!
I'm addicted to the Chateaux/Convent/furniture restorations....now really looking forward to a vehicle restoration!! Especially working with lovely Phil!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I’m so looking forward to seeing this beauty come back to life, because she’s obviously not very well at the moment. I was so happy just to see the windows go up, it showed signs of life x
My mechanic in my old hometown in the Hudson Valley, New York - Brian Dee is a passionate classic vehicle restorer. I also haven't a clue about auto mechanics but was forever delighted at the plethora of amazing projects at Brian's garage. I love that you've begun this new channel and am looking forward to seeing what you get up to. Thanks, Phil!
I’m going to love this. My daddy was in the automobile business all my life. My brother is his father’s son so I love being around cars. Can’t wait to see what you do with this Range Rover!
very excited for the next vid to see what all bill did and what parts he has already. Its great to hear you can get so many parts for this also, id like to learn how those front inner fenders are replaced
This channel may go on for a couple of years! Looking forward to watching you drive yourself crazy trying to get this grand dame back to herself. Gwen should get herself a headscarf , wellies and a waterproof coat in hunter green to match in preparation for her first outing.
Oh wow Phil, I love this old beauty. I grew up around old cars and trucks and I love the restoration that brings them back to their former glory, especially this one! If anyone can bring this back, you can!
We used to have one of these. Other drivers kept well away and did not take liberties on the road. Great car and I hope you can get it back on the road. I will be watching with pleasure.
From the land of American muscle cars. I have a few words for you.... SEND IT!!!... HAVE THAT GO AS YOU SAY... I want to see classics on the road driving on it's own power...
Alex, on Curiosity Inc. (in Canada) used WD 40 Specialist machine & engine degreaser foaming spray to clean the engine of his new barn find. The engine compartment came very clean. Maybe this product will make your life a little easier. ☺
~~Hello From Texas~~ Great to see a car restoration from across the sea. I have been working on cars since I was 8 years old in my Paw Paws shop and I have been in restorations for 40 yrs...I restore classic/muscle cars...that's where my passion is. Great video 🙂👍
Fred Firestone will in love the holes in the Car as well. Yippya Yippyey 😂 Im very happy that you helping Billy to safe the Car. Wish you a lots of luck 😊
I watch a chap called mat Armstrong. He is not mechanically trained but does a great job. So someone like yourself who is more than capable. Should be breeze. Good luck Phil, look forward to seeing more.
I’m so excited that this is a Balmoral Limited Edition. If it were any only Range Rover, I wouldn’t be as chuffed as I am about this renovation. What model year is it? Looks like late 80’s??
My husband loves watching these types of shows here on TV from across the pond. So I'm going to dive into this project to see just what it involves to restore this Range Rover with you, Phil.
Yep bring it on looking forward to it. The other half has a bmw x3 sports and wants a range rover. I have a bad hip and struggle to get in it, rangerovers are higher i told him i need a step and notorious for breaking down but i do love them.
DANG IT! I ALREADY watch you guys on the other two channels! My backside can only grow so long of a root!🤣 Love it though! Can’t wait to see how the roots of girl turns out.✌️🤘🇨🇦
Phil, I have ABSOLUTE faith in you restoring Billy's Range Rover! I've seen MUCH worse! (Watch a Canadian guy restore a Rolls Royce left to marauding racoons.)
Phil, you never make a mess of anything you choose to do. I’m really glad you have a new channel with just you doing the work steps forward. Good luck from Lynda 😊
Phil, it's wonderful you are starting another project. I pray you can handle the chateau, the bar, and now this with all you have going on in your personal life. Here is to hoping it's just the thing to pick you up. You seem so sad.
I'm a huge auto enthusiast. Thanks to my dad's love of old American muscle cars. I enjoy watching others restore vehicles. I will definitely be following your progress. 😊
The thickness of the exterior window housing is impressive and speaks to the vehicle weight. Such a shame RR didn't protect the undercarriage from rust out. It looks like a fun project.
Wow! I feel excited to see what you can accomplish with this journey into car rehab! I know absolutely NOTHING about cars except how to put in the gas. This should be an education!
Being a woman that doesn’t know much about car renovations , I find this project fascinating. You can count on me to follow your adventure, Phil! ❤
