Omg ❤️ This song got me through one of the hardest times of my life. January of 2004 I was diagnosed with AIDS. My heart was breaking and this song was very relatable. I was told I would die. I'm still here. 🥰
@courtneyjack5211: Now that's real strength. You know the term YOLO? Well that's not true at all. Remember you live every day, and only die once, keep fighting you got this.
I was so lucky to have seen Velvet Revolver in concert in 2007 and experienced vocalist Scott Weiland performing live at a peak. Sadly, Velvet Revolver was short-lived... debuted in 2004 and were over by 2008. Former Guns N' Roses members Slash (lead guitar), Duff McKagan (bass) and Matt Sorum (drums) were out of GNR by 1996 and they all did separate projects... They decided to get together in a new rock band in 2002 and eventually hired Dave Kushner (guitar)... Around the same time, Stone Temple Pilots broke up in '02 and their singer Scott Weiland was looking to work in a new band and auditioned... and Velvet Revolver was born. Their debut album 'Contraband' was released in 2004 and it sold 2x platinum (2 million copies) in the US as Velvet Revolver toured actively... Slash was struggling w/ his addictions and personal problems, which delayed the 2nd album 'Libertad'... released in 2007. However, it sold less (half million copies in the US) Singer Scott Weiland was proving to be erratic and he ended up leaving Velvet Revolver in '08... The band took time off to find a replacement but opted to break up w/ Slash working on a solo record. Scott Weiland reunited w/ Stone Temple Pilots in 2009 and recorded his final album w/ the band (self-titled) in 2010... However, the album was not a commercial success and Weiland's erratic behavior & drug habits proved too much for the band to handle - he was fired in 2013... Scott Weiland was touring in 2015 when he was found dead in his tour bus from an OD.
Dude, this whole album was full of bangers! This song, Dirty Little Thing, Loving the Alien, You Got No Right! But this song was definitely something special...still gets to me! Also, Scott had a solo Christmas album that is incredible too.
Slash always comes up with something. Post GNR it was Slash's Snakepit, then Velvet Revolver, solo work, then teaming up with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (still puts albums out and tours with them) then back to GNR (since 2016). Slash is one of the hardest working musicians out there, keeps himself busy and can work with anyone. As for Velvet Revolver they were a great band but succumbed to Scott's addiction which caused them to fire him after just 2 albums. Sadly, Scott lost the battle with his demons.
I read SLASH and Duff's autobiographies... they really tried to help Scott. It was hell trying to find a lead singer in the first place. Scott would have been a grandad this year...RIP
It was always misunderstood and out of the ordinary, the curious and paradoxical thing about this song that totally described the existential degradation that Scott was experiencing, immersed in the substances that little by little were destroying him. Even so, his powerful voice, his lyrics and his essence will last forever. RIP Scott Wiland!
Dude, go and sing this song with all your heart - you won't regret it. Im older than dirt, this song (and others you have recently played) is the secret of keeping young. You two have great energy, cheers.
P.s. Disclaimers preaching how people can talk makes you guys like the censorship gurus at RUclips. If any executive was face to face with me no way in Hell they get away telling me how to speak. Food for thought.
I've recommended this once before a while ago but I'm not even sure if the song has been banned in the USA. Lowkey - Obama Nation. You already know how deep Lowkey gets. This is just fantastic
I will agree that this "supergroup" didn't meet the expectations for the potential they had, mainly due to Scott's inability to control his addiction, but I definitely wouldn't call them a one hit wonder.
This was the only song I liked from them so I consider it there one hit wonder and that is why I don't care for them that much to each their own I like a lot of stuff most people don't in the world of music
@@SavageGBP I agree with the potential aspect my opinion may be more suede to dislike because I followed it and was hype for it and then was severely disappointed
Such an amazingly written song. Scott had such a great voice RIP 🙏
And Slash always hits in these types of songs 🐐
Omg ❤️

Weiland is one of the best ever to do it! Gone way too soon! RIP Scott!
Velvet Revolver was incredible!
One of the best in or at least one of my favourite songs ever. Tight

I just realized the intro is the same as Boston's More Than A Feeling
I totally slept on Duff McKagan. He was so hot
🔥🔥🔥
RIP SCOTT
Swiss - Daily Duppy
Got to give Slither by them a listen.
Love all your reactions you should watch slash and Myles Kennedy their songs or even Myles covering guns and. Roses. Love or accoustic
React to Lazarus freestyle with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45, it’s nuts 🔥🔥🔥😮😮😮
You guys should check out another super group, Damn Yankees
I've recommended this once before a while ago but I'm not even sure if the song has been banned in the USA. Lowkey - Obama Nation. You already know how deep Lowkey gets. This is just fantastic
Gosh! This super group was 🔥. Never seen the video. It’s hard to watch cuz you can see how unhealthy Scott was here. He was a legend 💯
Scott's voice is amazing. This is a supergroup. I prefer STP
React to Stone Temple Pilots Crackerman live Remastered if u wanna see some Scott Weiland on fire. Show him some love.
React to stone temple pilots - big empty
Eks GN'R + STP
Good band but this song has always sounded repetitive to me. Like it’s mostly the hook.
This was a mash up MTV band I did not care for them
One hit wonder 🤔

@@TheDude3007-dd7fg does "Dirty Little Thing" or "She Builds Quick Machines" count as a hit?
