Nothing more fun than puzzles dependent on the position of the sun and insects, except for the ones that aren't. Still, when progress is made, one can't complain too much.
The bugs stimulate the lotus' antennae, which makes it open its petals. But we can't get into the lotus that's already open, so we need to make the bugs open the other one. Once that's done, the spores released by the newly open one attract the bird, which then carries us away. The logic is questionable, like all of Edanna, but it is what it is. And...what dying world? Edanna isn't dying. It looks like it's doing just fine.
Sacrifice the lotus for mana of any color! Hehe. Seriously, though, good job. I hated figuring this out when I played Myst 3. Those paths are just too vague. Ganbatte!
Hmm, now what purpose would moving insects from one plant to another serve? I don't see how that would be conducive to reviving the dying world at all...
4:10 That is such a terrible last puzzle. When I played this age, I just clicked on everything until I solved it without understanding the logic behind it. You did a good job explaining it though, despite how stupid it all is.
I really wanted to find a myst 3 walktrough and i am really enjoying this one. The commentary makes me feel like im watching blues clues.

And the funny thing just got even funnier! XD XD XD
Like if you have completed Ametaria and Voltaic but GET SO PISSED OFF WHEN YOU HAVE NO FUCKING IDE WHERE YOUR GOING IN EDANNA!
The only jungle that was easy to navigate was the one in Riven.

And then the blue guys come and stick their hair in the ground to get the second plant back open, so you have to blow them all up, but then they...
And people say that games aren't art.
umm the white plants are as markers duhh
