- Technically, the face of a mirror should bisect the angle between the source of the light and the target of reflection, not point directly at the target. That is, unless the curvature of the mirror focuses the light to a point before emitting it, but then what would the point of the sunflower be?

I love this. I like the way you "explain" what everything is and how to work it out.

Yes. You can watch the making of Exile here on youtube, and the devs from Presto said they had made a concerted effort to make the consequences of your actions more immediate and understandable. Quite a few Myst fans out there consider this the easiest and most contrived of the games. But this also seems to be the favorite Myst game among the more casual players who don't want something as indomitable as Riven (which did cross the line at times from "fun" to "wow this is annoyingly difficult")

I have the most unfortunate bug when it comes to this part. When I zoom in to view the flowers, you cannot see a thing! I'm going to have to get by this part via process of elimination

I thought the original Myst was both easier and more contrived. Nothing in Exile is as poorly explained as how the colored pages jump around and can only be carried one at a time. There's also no explanation for how the brothers knew their whereabouts.
I'm guessing the original nostalgia bomb is rarely held to the same standard as one made by a separate company, following the epic game Riven no less.
I'd get so frustrated at this game because of the still images that just change into new ones with no moving animation. Seems really easy to get lost.
