This song is constantly in my psyche.
I’ve grown up listening to Tool and I’m 18 years old now. My father raised me well. Introduced me to these bands when I was about 5years old. Tool, Pearl Jam, Korn, Skid Row, Black Sabbath, Twisted Sister, And I kinda just built on that all the way until today.
I'm your age and I discovered them a year ago, they are just what I was looking for, I've spent so many years looking for a music that truly transmits me something else than notes and harmony, my search is over
@@faridrosero6040 I might be going to see them live for the first time if we can get some tickets. They apparently come to Alabama a good bit but the tickets vanish in the blink of an eye😂 what a killer first live show after quarantine🤣
@@kaiqualls815 Have they gone on tour already?
This is describes the feeling of my silent migraines perfectly it’s like a brain melt down I get extremely sweat and feelings like deja vu. Like a mini seizure. Or after tripping and trying to grasp and the fleeting false realizations
Right out of the gate! Maynard’s vocals of awesomeness! Danny Carey Holy Sh**, shreds those drums. Like an S.O.B. Thick track is frickin bad ass. ❤❤❤❤
Ya
This song (Takes me home) , love this
I love this album so much. Tool is inspirational and a one of a kind sound.
I used to have this on cassette! (...and cd too)
How fuucking cool is that drum intro. Tool rocks!
Fuck yeah
I am a slipknot, miw, wage war, bad omens, and while she sleeps listener and have had a ton of friends and family recommend TOOL to me. Never really gave it a chance until now. I’m starting my TOOL journey with the first album to the most recent. Wish me luck and i hope i enjoy it🤞.
You're gonna love it. Enjoy the ride ✌
Tool are just awesome!!!
I just bought a copy of this on vinyl! I owned the cassette tape back in the day lol. Can’t wait to spin it on my new turntable! 🎸
I remember when I found this CD in my small hometown record store (back when they actually HAD record stores) and I said to myself 'this cover art is is f'n crazy - I'm buying this!' and in about an hour Maynard James Keenan became one of my lifelong favorite vocalists. About 2-5yrs later Tool became a household name, but I always laugh that the weird art is how I found this band in HS.
Bt listening was 10 × the pleasure
I remember hearing this for the first time in Escape from LA
Who ever puts a thumbs down on a tool song should be tossed into Arizona Bay...
what happens to people that get tossed into arizona Bay?
@@leesaunders1930 Gotta learn to swim.
Only the gun-toting, hip gangster wannabees will be giving a thumbs down lol.
Lol
Learn to swim motherfucker.
I have not heard this before and I have listened to tool for 13 years! Just kind o skipped over opiate apart from a few tracks. It's such a delight and very distinct from their other work, the EP is more palatable to the masses in some ways too because its 3x platinum I believe!
It’s the way you whisper
First time i heard this was on John Carpenter's "Escape From LA" staring Kurt Russell and have loved Tool ever since i was 5 years old💯🤘🏼
One of the best bass guitar albums ever made. It’s how I test new headphones lol. If this feels live then I know they will be solid.
My fave song off this EP
Listening to all of this to get keen for the new album
Welcome to the rabbit hole of tool! Ive been a megafan since Spring of 2018
I'm beginning my journey here and I'm not stopping until I crash out. My body is ready.
Yes but is your mind ready 🙏🙂
This ep is more than relevant
This song embarked me on a passionate embrace that refereed me to TOOL
More of this please ...
Most of us heard Sobor first, on radio and tv. It was like the bard outside, calling us all in. The next Tool song I heard was Sweat, because Undertow cost more than Opiate and I only had what I had. But I'm glad, cos I got to experience Tool in order, except for Sobor, who caught my attention and drew me in. I remember thinking, Tool?!!! What a name for a band. Imo, if you don't like to Sweat, you don't really like Tool. Basics 1st, then move fwd
Still get the chills, even after over 20 years
It takes me home
I am excited for the new chapter of TOOLs enlightenment. Thanks guys.
Me too but you know this isn't new right?
Yeah Livia, this isn't new. Lol
Livia Lautenschlager this song like 28 years old lol
Lol, I love the comments
They finally played Sweat at MSG 1/13/24 for the first time in 18 years. It brought me back to watching them at Roseland NYC in the 90's. Half white/half blue.
The art is more than just music
Elaborate, please..?
Wow a Tool song under 4 minutes! 😲
My neighbours listen to Tool all the time. They have no choice 🙂
This is great.
