Okay get more firm suspension in the GTR and remove 50 HP letz see what happens...
This is very true. If you guys havent I recommend you look up the video of a 90hp miata with upgraded suspension keep up with a Ferrari 458
@@GSXR_1K_FTW No the difference there was the 458 was being driven by some rich wanker while the Miata was being driven by some who knew how to drive hard and fast.
This makes me miss my 95 integra gsr. that thing was so fun to throw into corners and exciting to drive. Loved it more than my 05 wrx I own now
I own a 1995 gsr integra and a 2002 wrx. Next to my collection is gonna be a 1995 miata and a 2005 forester
@@stupidslave nice! I sold both and bought a 89 bmw e30 coupe
@@danbmx445 theres a 1995 bmw 525i wagon in my drive way and I wanna buy it from my dad
Man you can really see the boat in the GTR when it corners, though it's a boat I'd love to own
I'll never get tired of listening to that VTEC engine
Nicest Integra ever. Period

Great race, although a fairer comparison would have been the Type R vs an R33 GTS25T, or the BNR32 vs an NSX. Goes to show how great both cars are. Here in NZ the DC2 Type R will only set you back 6-7k NZD, BNR32 is more like 20-25k NZD. I'd rather buy an S2000 and have 10k left over...but hey that's just me
Oh lord, how things have changed in six years... BNR32's are 90k on the really low end now... God I wish I was born a little earlier.
This is the only guy who can mess with dori dori with no problem
Price was the same? Damn crazy what future hold for both cars

Love the sound of the Skyline, actually love both
Should've gone up against the BCNR33, they're about the same year production. It'll be heavier though, but has better suspension, and updated ATTESA 4wd.
I think we can all agree that Tsuchiya wasn't really trying at all in the GTR. He was definitely just out playing around. If he wanted to he definitely could have sent the integra packing. Even still it did an amazing job against Godzilla.
3:12 That understeer was crazy
ITR thé perfection for a 1,8L N/A
The Integra Type R is an amazing car, that's why miroshi and myself both have one haha
Where i live legal R32 GT-R is twice the price of ITR for same condition/mileage and seeing this make DC2 very appealing
amazing race!
shocked that the lil Honda kept up so well
Power to weight
@@coopsnz1 good vehicle design*
Does the R32 have torque bias to the rear? It seemed like it did.
It's crazy to see how poorly the BNR32 handles with the stock suspension. Mostly bcuz of how heavy it is, It was bouncing all over the place. It's definitely apparent that tech is making positive progress when u watch the Teggy compete with Godzilla!

Nice video man you earned yourself another subscriber.
Chances are that BNR32 is Y plated on either on a military installation owned by someone who hasn’t taken care of it or is in the US present day
The fact the gtr has a turbo a bigger motor and over a 100 hp more and torque not to mention awd its pretty sad how the type r kept up lol
its a shame Honda never had a 6cyclinder AWD equivalent to the RB26. it would have been a beast. Especially with Hondas level of engineering
5:54 he got some serious air with the gtr

What about the automatic integra dc1?
Love the bnr32 😍
Which track is this? It is pretty hard and technical.
Apples an oranges actually. Even though the spec out similar as far as power to weight, the torque difference is to hard for the integra to overcome. I am a huge Honda guy and that's all I own. This is a battle of a scalpel vs. a sledgehammer. Both are great. both are great at what they were designed to do.
Nakazato vs Sakai ('Smiley')
Nothing like the old Japanese car racing videos.
I'm listening to this as I drive my S2K on the back roads of Georgia.
I have no clue what they said. But good race! and thank you youtube algorithm for this blessing
"the price is the same" wait are you serious, a new dc2 type r was the same price as a used gtr? That's crazy, considering the price difference today
the r32 price is only high cause it became legal in the US, used to be pretty damn cheap not too long ago
The fact that the Integra held off the GTR for so long at some points during the race says a lot.
Exactly. Two completely different cars but that teggy takes the cake for me.
